Beautiful gold coloured lens. They don't get much darker than they seem in the pictures when exposed to sunlight. Excellent craftsmanship that I've come to expect from all my Serengeti shades.

Picked up the 555nm Blue since I've enjoyed the 2 Serengeti I've had in the past(sadly I lost them while traveling). Except for 2 caveat(see below), the optical quality along with the photochromic capabilities of the sunglasses were exactly as I remembered despite the change in lens material(prior experience was with glass lenses). Unfortunately 3 things impacted my decision to keep the glasses: 1. The blue mirror finish of the lens I chose may not be a good choice. I could occasionally see the blue sheen at the front of lens at certain angles. 2. It does not seem like an anti-reflective coat was put on the back of the lens. I could see the top of my face mask reflected very clearly on the back of the lens creating a distracting reflection. 3. For those with a low nose bridge, you may wish to skip this sunglasses. The nose pads may at first appear to be accommodating to a low nose bridge, however, the part closest to the face is too far up to sit comfortably on the nose. Coupled with spring hinges, which doesn't have as much holding force, this means that the sunglasses with constantly slide down your face. Because of the above I decided to return the sunglasses.
