Mid conditioner for my Asian permed hair

I really like the SheaMoisture shampoo that goes with the conditioner, but unfortunately, the conditioner just isn't that good. I've been alternating between this and the Nexxus moisturizing conditioner for about a month and I prefer the Nexxus conditioner. I have pretty thick hair and the SheaMoisture conditioner looks pretty thick, but doesn't really lather or feel like it's moisturizing my hair. It does leave my hair looking pretty good, but I don't really like the feel or smell of it. I'm also not sure why this one has a pump but the shampoo doesn't. Quality is a 3.5/5 Price is 4.5/5 and Design is 5/5. The attached photos were from yesterday when I used the shampoo + conditioner combo

bottle stinks (conditioner doesn’t)

I have indescribably thin and dry hair, yet this worked well enough to replace the pricier conditioner I had before. I will however sully the bottle for constantly getting water leaked through, almost break from twisting the cap, and having the pump outright pop off from time to time. recommend pouring to another. still saved me a few bucks so yippee.

Idk why I discovered this product so late. I have type 3a curls and this works wonderfully to define them and make them frizz free. After I washed it, all I did was put some leave in conditioner and they dry perfectly. Must try!

I got thick frizzy hair that is supposed to be wavy but it's more frizzy because the humidity I live down in the south but this stuff I put in my hair yesterday and I had the best hair day that I've had in a long time too bad it's too hot to wear my hair down because it looks fabulous.

I struggle with my hair - that's the deal. I'm mixed, and my hair is... somewhere in between 3A and 3B, I think. Very thick, very frizzy, very prone to tangles, and I have admittedly not taken good care of it until this last year when I've been attempting to save it. I'm pretty sure this is my favourite conditioner so far; it makes detangling much easier than any other I've tried before, and it seems to weigh down/condition my hair the best so far. I still have to use leave in conditioners to get my hair to behave during the day after it dries, but it stays manageable for much longer than if I use any other conditioners. But yeah - if you're looking for something to make detangling easier, and moisturising, I suggest trying this conditioner out! I'd probably not suggest it for anyone with straight/thin hair unless it's *very* thick, because when I say this is a very heavy, very weighty conditioner, I mean it - and if you use it on the wrong hair, it might make it look limp or greasy. Otherwise though - definitely recommend!

Great conditioner but the bottle sucks

The conditioner is fantastic - the smell is great, not overly synthetic or sickly sweet. BUT - omg does the bottle suck! The pump is faaaaar too skinny for the consistency of the conditioner. It's genuinely painful to get enough out of the bottle, and taking the pump off doesn't massively help because the bottle shape isn't made for manually squeezing product out either. If they changed the packaging I'd give it 5*, but at this point, the bottle is making me never want to purchase it again

Use sparingly

Don't use too often as it's high protein. Too much can make hair greasy. But great for a hair protein boost from time to time.

Not a permanent solution.

This is a good product. My daughters hair is curly and a little dry at the ends. Used this and whilst it helped tame the curls it felt the same after a few days. My daughter has mixed hair and very defined ringlets. Unfortunately I thought using this would improve the quality of her hair but it was superficial and temporary.

Not for low porosity hair

It’s a good product! But not for my hair, my hair doesn’t absorb moisture very well so if you have hair like mine, defo go for something more nourishing
