Looks classy!

This was very easy to assemble as a husband/wife team. I think it took less than 2 hours. We laid the parts out and got to it and before long it was done. The doors open and close super smoothly and the interior shelves seem very sturdy. I can't say anything bad about it. We had one small issue with a screw going thru the shelf and the company immediately sent a replacement part.

Amazing!

Simplihome is an amazing brand! This is my 3rd piece of furniture by the brand and I am more than happy with my purchases! This one in particular is beautiful! Incredible storage and aesthetically pleasing! Goes in any room! Very sturdy and my husband put it together with ease.

Nice piece (not ideal for vinyl records)

I bought this to store my records and place my player and speakers on top. While it was easy to assemble (one person too about an hour) it is not the best for record storage. Both doors will not fit on with records inside and the top is too small to put records on all levels. However, it is a really nice piece of real wood furniture and looks great

Hard to find quality like this in RTA

As a product manager I used to develop a lot of Ready-to-Assembly furniture. This company has thought of everything. The product was packaged very well, although I wish they used more sustainable protection inside the box. This was easy to assemble. I use it for books so I was glad to see that I could adjust the shelves to different heights on each side to accommodate taller books. The door literally took 2 seconds to install, so I don't understand the complaints about this - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! I did add some bumpers to the sliding doors so they don't bang when you close them. Regarding the glue issues that a lot of people complained about - here is a tip for removing the glue which I learned from my years of working on picture frames - alcohol removes the glue residue without any damage to the finish. I have a lot of MCM furniture and would have preferred a more polished finish and more color options, but it fits in well enough. The only real complaint I have is the off-gassing - I wish the company had considered the VOCs. Since the cabinet is in my bedroom, I covered it with a sheet at night for a week or so. Overall, well made and worth the price.

Better than expected

I searched and searched for an entryway table. I wanted something solid wood that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I am so happy with these! I bought 2 and pushed them together. They’re true MCM style, sturdy, but classic and elegant. The instructions were very easy to follow and they went together with zero issues. These were designed SO WELL! They look more expensive that they are. Would 10/10 buy again.

Nice design, real wood, but back board cracked/damaged

Like the design and that this piece of furniture is made of solid wood pieces, as far as I can notice. Not the manufactured wood or veneers and plastic and paper, that I absolutely cannot stand. It did take some time to assemble. The instructions were clear enough. And I did receive all the hardware. Also nice to get some extra added from the manufacturer, just in case something breaks when putting together. Arrived fast, thank you. But now for the loss of 2 stars in my review. In the packing of the pieces in the box there is a nice thick soft paper between wood pieces. But the back piece of the shelf back was bent and cracked on both ends. Also a subtle crack along the entire length of the back board. I had to get it repaired. I would think that was seen when made. For the price I purchased for this bookcase, it was sizeable cost out of my limited budget. And hesitated with the purchase to start with, with the cost. Also I noticed that the cost has gone up over $170 since my purchase. I would not be purchasing it for the price listed today.

Solid Product

I rarely do Amazon reviews. However, this product was so impressive that I wanted to support this company. This cabinet is very sturdy, made of solid wood as advertised. It's attractive and definitely built to last. It was also easy to assemble, and the hardware and instructions were well organized and clear. Don't hesitate to buy this one. It's well worth it.
