Easily dissolves spider droppings

My husband insisted I write this review. He’s so happy to finally find something that works. We have lots of daddy long legs (Harvestmen) on our property. We don’t use pesticides as we enjoy the natural balance of creatures. But yes, they poop! Anyway, this really works. He sprays the droppings and then wipes it right off. He’s used other things that failed to do anything. The house looks great under the eaves now.

Best I've ever used .. Period !

Best I've ever used .. Period ! Spray on, wait a few seconds, stuff dissolves. Then I rinse with a power washer on gentle. NO harm to gelcoat and restores to new-clean. Not cheap. But best value I've found.

Spider droppings are gone!

We live on a lake in Houston Texas and have a million spiders. They like to poop on our garage doors, and there was more poop than paint. Nothing has worked including pressure washing. This product is not expensive and thought it was worth a try. Early this morning we sprayed both garage doors and let it soak for about 1 hour. The poop did not dissolve, but was loosened. Took the garden hose with the jet nozzle and this knocked the poop off. There was some slight discoloration but a scrub brush easily removed that and when we rinsed it off, all the spider poop was gone. Highly recommend this product. It's the only product we found that works. Next, am gonna spray it on the love bug residue on the front of our cars and see if it works on them too.

Love Birds, Hate Droppings?

It’s a great honor to have wild birds choose your yard to raise a brood. But as much as I love it, I’m not wild about the droppings left by busy parents zipping back and forth to and from the nest to feed the babies, nor the growing mess beneath the nest as they work to keep it clean. As it all bakes in the summer sun, it can seem near impossible to scrub off; water alone doesn’t work. But fear not, there’s an easy fix. Having grown up on the East Coast, I spent a lot of time at the shore and know the perils of poop for a boat. Even if it’s properly waxed, a boat won’t give up the mess easily; and the stains—particularly if the birds have been eating berries—can be permanent. But this is a great product that can eliminate the droppings and stains without endless scrubbing: A couple sprays of “Star brite Spider & Bird Stain Remover,” and they'll begin to break down instantly. (Believe it or not, spider poop is a big problem for boats, too, as they sit idle at the marina.); and it works as well on concrete or your pool deck as it does on boats. There are likely many other solutions, but this is what I use so that I can enjoy the growing baby birds and their diligent parents until they fledge—knowing how easy it will be to remove anything left behind. Just spray it on the droppings, let it sit for a minute or so and watch them start to break down. You can then give them a light scrub; or if you’re like me and can’t be crawling on hands and knees for long, simply hose the the refuse quickly away. Easy-peasy!

Great stuff!

Our vinyl siding around our garage area was a spider crap mess. I was searching for something relatively easy to use, and saw this product on Amazon with mostly excellent reviews and decided to give it a try. I simply spayed it on the siding, waited about 30 seconds watching the mess start to melt, and then took paper towels and wiped the mess off. A few spots needed a little extra scrubbing with the paper towels, but most easily wiped off. There were a few particularly older and heavier spots that left a slight shadow, but these were hardly noticeable. I did the work in approximately 3’ by 3’ sections, each taking no more than 2-3 minutes to complete. I did use 2-3 full size fresh paper towels for each section. I did not have to use any scrubbing brush or water to do the job. I’m not sure why some reviewers said it didn’t work for them but for me this stuff is a total winner.

WOW!!!!!

I live in a wooded area and have bugs, spiders, carpenter bees, etc. They all leave droppings and stains on everything. I've been so frustrated with trying to keep my front porch looking nice. I was skeptical, I admit. I've tried different cleaners that never fully clean the spots off and decided to do some research on what may work and found this stuff. I sprayed it on and watched the stain "melt" right off! A lot of these stains have been on my siding for years because nothing worked! Even power washing didn't remove the stains! After using StarBrite, my siding looks new again! The white trim is white again! I took a scrub brush and lightly scrubbed every single stain away. I'm so impressed! I can't wait to finish up and get everything back in place now that I don't have embarrassing marks all over my siding! This is amazing stuff and I'll never purchase another brand!

Wow, fantastic product that works!

New white vinyl windows at cottage that always have spider poop and often when removing still leaves stain. Tried everything else and nothing worked. This simply wipes on and off. Also tried on some 25 year old vinyl siding that I thought was permanently stained and worked there too! Yes it is crazy expensive but it works and is quick. I had doubts paying this much but thought if it didn't work I'd return it. No need, will use this from now on and avoid much frustration.

Stubborn spider stains simply wipe off with this stuff. Seems safe on most materials, though I do rinse thoroughly.

It works but not as well as I thought

I bought this as 2 pigeons had taken up residence on my balcony and popped all over, especially in one area. I was not looking forward to the task of cleaning it and was hoping this would dissolve the poop more. It kinda did and I was able to clean it but the poop was still pretty solid and certainly wasn't to the point that my gag reflex wasn't activated. So yes, it worked but not as well as I thought. Maybe for just the odd poop it would be better.
