Assorted trading card purchase
Realistically, you are not going to get any gems. But you will get as promised - random mythic rares equal to or around the price paid. Think of this purchase like making an addition to your tool box; you may not get the project specific wrench that you want, but it's often handy to have multiples of the same socket size.

Just want mythics? Then this is for you.
I will be considering this product in terms of accuracy, objective value and personal bias. For reference: I purchased this product in 2022 for approximately $17. Accuracy: ★★★★★ | 5 | The product came with 25 mythics as described. They are very recent (within the last couple sets), although most come from Commander pre-constructed decks. Value: ★★★☆☆ | 3 | The total value of cards amounted to approximately $13 at the time of receiving the product. There were no duplicates within the package. Personal Bias: ★★☆☆☆ | 2 | Most of the cards I received were from recent commander sets. This means that the cards were pretty cheap in current value and had niche usage. In addition, some cards were commanders without their partner cards (e.g. got Nikara, Lair Scavenger without Yannik, Scavenging Sentinel), which made using them difficult/subpar. In that sense, it's not that great in building a collection either -- if you want MTG staples at a better value, just get singles. If you're new to Magic, a large assortment of commons and uncommons will do much more than a small package of arbiitrary, niche mythics. If you've played a bit of Magic here and there, or are experienced, buying singles is of more value. TL;DR It's great for people who just want some recent mythics from a certified supplier at a fast speed, but it's far less valuable if you intend on making a strong deck with good synergies or want to build upon your collection.

Nothing to write home about.
I should have read the reviews before purchasing. DO NOT BUY MORE THAN 1 UNLESS YOU ARE GIFITING TO SEPERATE PEOPLE. I bought 2 and they were exactly the same. I scanned the cards in and they are worth 18.58.

DON’T buy 2 at one time…look at the pics
I received 2 of these 25 card Mythic repacks from Star City Games today, so 50 cards total. I’m no geek off the street, I knew that I would be getting stuff from broken down commander decks and other precons, nothing that would be worth money, just decent Mythics to help flesh out my decks with possibly. I also knew that I would probably end up with at least 6-8 cards that I already had but the price was right so I took a chance and purchased 2 of them because they were on sale and almost half price at 18 bucks per pack. (About 30 bucks apiece at normal price) Opened up the first pack of 25 and sure enough, I was right on both fronts. Old precon cards and I already had 4 of them, but the other 21 were new and I was happy. Opened the second pack of 25…and got the EXACT same 24 cards again, in the EXACT same order. The only card that was different was this pack had a Vraska, The Unseen, where as the first had a Army of the Damned. Needless to say, I’m not satisfied and will not EVER buy 2 of anything like this again from anyone. One at a time from different shops from now on. I give 1 star on value because…I got the exact same cards twice for the price of 2 sets…no value there at all. 1 star for beginners because new players NEED different cards, not dupes. I’ll give 5 stars for being giftable lol, because that’s what they have become now, a gift. I’ll give them away to someone I know. Not mailing them back. By the time I do that, I’ll have spent even more time and money…no I’ll gift them. Overall, I give it 2 stars. I DID get exactly what was described in the ad. And the first pack was EXACTLY what I expected AND had I stopped there and only bought ONE pack, instead of two, I wouldn’t be writing this now so that’s on me for not listening to my better judgement. Otherwise this would be a 5-star review across the board, based on the first pack I opened. I’m going to attempt to contact Star City Games about a replacement or refund and will update this review if something comes of it. I’m not really upset, just disappointed with this outcome, you know? Buyer beware…

Perfect for a casual player to expand trade options, or expand decks
25 Mythics as stated, none of which are found in most constructed non-commander formats as far as i know ( I don't play much besides commander). But that said, this makes for a great commander set, I found a home for almost every 1 of the 25 cards including some options for new commanders. Cards I got off the top of my head were as follows Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord Isperia, Supreme Judge Time Reversal Hellcarver Demon Rakdos return (ok, this card is sweet and could easily be used in modern) Enter The Infinite Sydri, Galvanic Genius Nekusar the Mind Razer Archangels Light And I am drawing a blank on the rest at the moment. I would definitely recommend this to any casual player at the very least to have them to trade. 25 Mythics for $28 is awesome. Even if you pulled 25 mythics from 25 packs it would still cost a minimum of $4*25= $100. Assuming you bought the cheapest packs available which would then negate any chance of pulling mythics that could come from the random pack here. Most of my mythics are from older sets which run about $5-$10/pack so this is a really good deal.

Mainly for New Players!
If you are an established player or collector, this is probably not for you. If you are new to the game or are looking to get some cards for commander or cube, then this is a good place to start. I do recommend only buying one of these though as there is probably high duplication in mutiple packs.
