Fit the troybilt snow blower perfectly! Now to see how long the starter rope lasts, original rope broke after 3 years! Since it has electric start recoil starter used very little!!!!

Worked for about 15-20 starts. then blew to pieces.
While it fit ok and was easy to install.This unit literally worked not more than 20 times before it "blew up". Lucky I have electric start as here in Minnesota , we received 8 inches of snow last night (April). I went to start the snow blower- started fine- 1 pull!! recoil was only about 1/2 way. I did the old pull and release to try to get it to recoil. after 2 times it did recoil!!!!!----- in parts----- that are now shooting around the fly wheel!!!. Stopped motor-- dug out springs and plastic from recoil, Many many pieces of plastic!! Electric started motor, Cleaned driveway, came in to write this review. Pretty disappointed. Do not want to get to bottom of driveway with no way to restart if needed. I am glad the electric starter worked as I never use it!!

Avoid this one. I had a similar experience as another reviewer.
Cord broke after the third pull and it did not last through one driveway clearing. Glad I had electric start as a backup. When I took it off my Troy Bilt 2410 the middle bolt appeared to have come loose and the insides had fallen apart. Original part lasted me 3 years before the cord broke, may just rebuild the original with paracord.
