Mediocre- disappointing soles

Not the stride rite quality I’d expect. The soles are stiff and hard for my preschooler to walk in, not flexible like most stride rite shoes. Also the silver coating scuffs very easily so they look worn and cheap after the first use. But my kid is managing in them and is still walking well enough.

Great for wider “toe area” children!

My daughter’s head almost begins spinning around if her shoes “hurt” (touch) her pinky toe & she loves these. They’re cute &”frilly” enough to go with most of her dressier outfits, yet “plain” enough to be worn with everyday outfits. They were more expensive than other shoes, but having repeat happy mornings getting dressed for school is priceless!

Tough little shoes

My daughter is rough, tumbling toddler. These shoes are strong enough to keep up with her! They support her feet and repel water. If they get dirty, I just wipe them off gently and keep going! The best shoes ever!!!

Toes peeled before she outgrew them

These are super cute and seem comfortable on wide toddler feet, but are not made for regular outdoor play. Silver on the toes began to peel after a couple weeks of wear, so they've become her junk shoes for the sandbox. Probably the most disappointing Stride Rites we've purchased.

Major scuffs

The shoes are pretty, comfortable, and fit well. However, after wearing them for two days to school, they came back with major scuff marks (see pictures). My kid didn’t fall or anything like that. This was just from running around with her friends at school. I love this brand and have bought MANY of their shoes and this has never happened. It’s crazy how easily the top layer covering can tear. I hate to say I do not recommend something but, this was ruined way too fast. I don’t expect kids shoes to look pristine but I don’t see these lasting more than two months without major holes being made.
