Great Portable Ping Pong Table

This table is approximately the size of a dining room table. Obviously smaller than regulation, but I was more interested in portability. I used to have a full size table and those are very hard to store, or move around. I like that this table is easy to fold up and place in a closet or back seat. It’s also made of tougher material than MDF, which can break down over time. The net is very easy to install once the table is raised, but the center line is slightly off from one side to the other. I would have given this table five stars, but the protection inside the box was poor. Consequently it suffered a few small dents around the metal frame during shipping. This wasn’t enough cause to return, but the manufacturer should secure and protect these tables better prior to sending them out where they are most likely to take damage.

Tons of fun, ok quality

This is a very nice ping pong table. This has provided hours of fun for my family and my 11 year old son wants to do this all of the time. I couldn’t get him off video games before but now he is loving ping pong. He even told me that if I would have asked him if he wanted to play a few weeks ago he would have said no but now he always asks to play. The table is a bit smaller than an average table but is great for easily setting up and putting away when you don’t have a dedicated space. The table folds nicely and stores in the closet without issue. The paddles included are quite basic but work for fun use. The only issue I have with this table is that the quality is not as high as I would expect. The first one I had the hinge was broken on one side, making the table not functional without clamping it together. I ordered another one as we really liked it and this one thankfully works but is dinted all over it right out of the box. I think that the manufacturer didn’t think about keeping it in good shape and put a small layer of bubble wrap around it that wouldn’t protect much of anything. Thankfully for this one its all cosmetic and the function is great. Just note that the two side hinges where it folds are single rivets and a singular point of failure on the item. If they happen to fail it makes it difficult to fold and tools are needed to hold it together for use. Overall I would still purchase this if it failed because of how much fun we have with it. The portability is important for us as we don’t have room to leave it out all the time and it is easy (2 minutes) to setup or put away.

A nice small table tennis table

*Note – Mine ALSO had a hole in it, which makes at least THREE reviewers that have reported receiving one of these with a hole in it. I did request a replacement, and got a new one with no holes, (though it had some dents), so at least it worked out in the end, but it is not exactly fun to box this thing back up and ship it out for a replacement. Might want to keep that in mind. After sending back the damaged table and receiving the replacement, we have been enjoying using this table. It is a very fast setup: just unfold the table, pull the legs into position, and then flip it over into standing position, and put on the net. The instructions state that it requires “two strong adults” to flip it upright into position, but that part wasn’t that difficult. It is a nice surface, and you can get playing right away because it comes with two paddles and four balls. The paddles are the very basic rubber with dot texture ones, not smooth or padded like higher end paddles; but these are just fine for a starter set. The table also has built-in leg levelers, which can be nice if you are planning to use it outdoors. The table is described as Indoor/Outdoor, and says that it is “weather-proof”, so we will see how it holds up on a screened-in patio. So far, it has been fun to play on, but I will update this review over time if there are any other problems.

Should’ve expected damage

Just like the other reviews, mine came damaged on one side. The game has no instructions or anything related to play. Guess you get to make it up as you go along. I hate FedEx ????

Great purchase

This is perfect for a quick set up/break down. But…. It doesn’t seem flimsy or cheap. My three teens have spent hours playing. I Am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it!!

Convenient, space saving fun

My son loves to play ping pong; however, we have limited space. This table is the perfect compromise. It folds easily which makes it very easily stored while taking up minimal space. The table is sturdy when fully expanded and seems to be well made. I appreciated that it came with paddles and balls for immediate play. Although play area is condensed since it is not full sized, the table is perfect for our space.
