Listing is wrong by about 125 ft

The wire is what I want and probably enough to satisfy my father who asked me to find him some bailing wire to use around his place. The pictures of the package are accurate but I never looked at them before purchasing. Please correct your copy so individuals know what they are buying. Surprised that there has not been any replies to those who brought this to their attention previously.

Does NOT come coated in a greasy smelly sludge!

Perfect 22 gauge annealed wire. My main reason for leaving this review is to let future buyers know that this wire does not come coated in a greasy smelly sludge as other reviews have claimed. I use a lot of this type of wire and I have never had a spool of it coated in anything...well maybe a very light lubricant so it doesn’t rust whilst in the package but that is it.

Photo pictured is NOT what was received

Photo pictured is NOT what I received. I received a differently packaged dark steel wire that says "Hillman" on the bottom instead of "Anchor Wire" like the photo. The wire has a gross black oily film on it and my hands are absolutely black from cutting 18 short lengths of wire for my jewelry projects. The wire has small kinks(which are much harder to see in the photo) in it so I had to cut off those parts as I need a nice long unkinked part of wire on which to make my glass headpins. The wire has scratched silver spots where the black is worn off. The wire is about double to triple what I normally pay for better quality wire, but needed the wire quickly to create work from my upcoming show and ordered from here since prime would allow me to receive my wire within a few days. I will NOT be purchasing from this seller again and am sad to leave this feedback because I had hoped to receive the same trusted brand and wire in the photo.
