Doesn't work well with other tracks
Updating to add: This train works great on Fisher Price tracks. We didn't have that kind until recently, so I didn't realize those are the tracks it's meant for. I updated my rating from 3 to 5 stars since the initial review was based off of using it on a different brand of Thomas tracks. Original review: There is a reason this train is so affordable compared to the other Thomas trains. It doesn't work well. It gets stuck at almost every connection point in the tracks. You can give it tap and it will go but it just gets stuck again. I think the issue is that the front wheels are too big and the power is coming from the back wheels. When the front wheels hit a place where the track pieces connect the back wheels lift up off the track and there is no traction, so the train gets stuck. It frustrates my 3yo but he's already played with the train so I'm not going to take it away from him to return it.

I didn’t have the whole item in the video, there are a couple pieces my son had somewhere I didn’t look for haha but you can see the item isn’t small and is perfect!!! Love it

Good motorized train for Thomas track master tracks
Fun little motorized engine set, meant for trackmaster but it does fit on wooden tracks but can’t get traction to go up wooden track pieces that go up (have elevation). The purple crystal pops on and off the cart, and works with other carts with a similar pop on spot in the Thomas line. The cart with sand insert was a bit of a large size, other carts in the Thomas track mast line are not able to hold it. We had gotten the Crystal mine trackmaster set and the “Crystal mine cart filling pieces” are smaller, so they fit in the sand cart but the sand piece won’t fit in the crystal carts. Not a big deal. Motorized Thomas is pretty sturdy it survived a 40lb toddler stepping on it a few times and falling off the tracks from a 3 foot height a bunch of times. Fun desert and mining themed addition.

fun to play with
Thomas & Friends is one of the best brands for kids. My child loves playing with the train set. The car comes with a remote so that my child can drive it all around the house. It is easy to use and my child can use it on his own without any assistance from me. The train set is perfect for any child - it is designed for preschoolers and is still easy enough for younger kids.This toy is the perfect gift for a friend or relative who has a little one. This is a really easy toy to put together and it is so much fun for little ones! Thomas & Friends is a popular children's show from the United Kingdom. With this product, you can own a replica of your favorite character. I love this toy because it is interactive and promotes imaginative play. The train is battery powered, so it's perfect for taking along on family outings. I love that it is affordable and that it comes with a manual that tells you all about the different options to customize and play with the toy.

Fisher Price Train Set
The media could not be loaded. Really nice train set from the Thomas and Friends group. Requires 2x AAA batteries which aren’t included. The red leaver on top of Percy is what activates the train moving. Each section clips together and detaches quite easily. I’d definitely recommend this. My son absolutely loves it (he’s 2.5yrs)

Cute and works well
This is a very cute train set. Percy train, brake car Bruno and a cargo car all connect together to make a colourful and fun to play toy. These are compatible with Thomas & Friends tracks and the motorized Percy can pull along the brake and cargo cars easily. Durable and works perfectly. My toddler loves playing with his Percy train. I would recommend.

Percy makes train like noise when moving
The media could not be loaded. This is a set with Percy and Brake car Bruno. Perfect for Thomas the train fans. Percy makes a train like sound as he moves along which is pretty cool as it's a mechanical sound rather than recorded. The train can detach from bruno and then you can have two parts to play with! The carriage has space to put things in and deliver them! I recommend this toy!

Nice Thomas & Friends Train!
Thomas the tank engine and friends based on the original books by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry first published in 1945 and still going strong. This Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Percy & Brake Car Bruno motorized battery-powered toy train is the latest addition in a long line of toys taken from the franchise. It is a little smaller than I was expecting but then I saw that it is sized to fit the Thomas & Friends railway track available separately. I don't have the track so I couldn't test it but being motorized using 2 AAA batteries (not supplied) but I would imagine this is where it works best. The individual engine, cargo car and brake car can be used in conjunction with other Thomas & Friends engines, cargo cars and tenders. It is not intended to be used with wooden tracks and is only compatible with Thomas & Friends Master Track. My grandchildren are going to have a lot of fun with this and to be honest, which toddler wouldn't?
