These work wonders!

My docs are super tight for one foot, and these helped a lot. Still have a long way to go with stretching them and molding them to my foot, but this sock helps me wear them for longer to break them in.

Dream Socks for a Docs Wearer

I had seen these suggested online for anyone working on breaking in their Doc Martens boots. I had tried wearing multiple thick socks and it was never enough. These on the other hand- they have extra padding right where you need it. I would still recommend a second pair of socks if your Docs are brand new for extra padding... But these really help save your feet! They are a little tight. I wear a US Women's 11 shoe- so I'm used to socks being tight at first.

These are perfect socks for use while breaking in stiff boots such as Doc Martens. These saved my feet during the first few weeks of wear!

Too tight in calves

These socks were too tight on my calves and too uncomfortable to wear. Not happy at this price.

Super Thick cushioning; sock looks really small but it is NOT.

I could not believe how thick these are on the feet. High quality for sure, and will be great for winter or for long walks. By the way, I had to go back in and edit my post. At first I rated these crew socks as too small, couldn't stand them on first trying with my running shoes. Have since tried with a different pair of extra-roomy running shoes, and with my winter boots that are sized larger. Sock size is fine! (The only thing I find a little too snug now is the elastic banding that holds up the sock, but that may be because I'm used to the diabetic-type relief socks. Will still keep them as I can fold the band and cuff down.)

They were very nice socks BUT very thick, I have tried to find a pair that are thin except with a much thicker heel, saw some years ago and now that I need them can't find them, I have a new pair of cowgirl boots and they fit great except the heel is so big as I have a very narrow heel, just have to keep looking.

Great padding

Got these for my mother-in-law who has no padding left on the balls of her feet due to age & surgery. She's 85, very active and likes to walk/hike. She LOVES these socks. They are the first pair of socks that have helped her feet!

Great socks to use when breaking in a new pair of walking shoe. The padded areas provide provide great protection while not being too bulky.

Perfect for breaking in Doc Martens!

These socks are so comfortable and they are perfect for breaking in Doc Marten boots, they’re padded at exactly the right spots. I just wish they came in different colours.
