Almost perfect
I was looking for something totally natural and thought this was it. It is for the most part almost perfect as to what I was looking for except it has propylene glycol( anti-freeze) in it. Which I realize is in so many things and not supposed to be harmful in small amounts but I did not want chemicals. I like the product except for that. You really have to read ingredients on everything.

Good deodorant- depending on your level of physical activity and sweat levels
Okay so I tried this deodorant a few years ago and hated it. At that time I had a job where I was always on the go, constantly moving and and I would sweat daily due to the high activity. Back then to me this deodorant sucked and didn’t eliminate B.O. I never bought it again. Well fast forward to now, i saw that this is pretty affordable compared to other aluminum free deodorant so I figured I’d give it a try again. Now I have an office job where I am pretty stationary for the whole work day and I can see that this deodorant really isn’t that bad. The scent is okay and it’s hasn’t irritated my skin. So for me it just depends on what my level of activity is weather this works for me or not. I also really like that this deodorant doesn’t leave the white streak on clothes. Side note: I sweat a lot so that definitely has to do with how I’m rating this deodorant. Overall, I rates this a 3 start because to me a deodorant should work the same weather your very physically active or stationary. Its good not great or amazing, just good or even maybe okay (like it will do for now). It’s also pretty affordable for it to be aluminum free. If I won’t be doing much activity this deodorant works good but if I’m going to be doing high movement activity where I’m going to be sweating more than usual I wear my more stronger aluminum free deodorant. I probably won’t order this again once I run out.

Smells great but not long lasting
I have very sensitive skin and have been looking for more Natural products to reduce chemicals. This product is gentle with a light fresh scent but I would not say that it is long acting. Scent disappears within a few hours. Keeps BO down for about 12 hours in my experience. Having said that, I feel that it is a much better product then Lume, which works for long periods of time but I believe makes your BO much worse after it wears off. All of this could just be my chemical makeup and how it reacts to the different products but that has been my experience.

Does what I want it to do
I selected Toms of Maine because it’s been around for decades. Next, it said unscented and after spending two years at home because of Covid, smells from mixing products (and I don’t use that many!) are overwhelming. While I like lavender, the scent is overpowering, and I feel like everything is adding more scent and it’s just too much. I was relieved to find unscented deodorant because when I sweat, I don’t want to have a smell (even if it is lavender!) I hate sweating, so I’m not much of an exerciser, but I do a lot of walking, and this seems to do its job of keeping me free of BO. I am going to add, when I do sweat, it has this slick, tacky feel that I don’t care for, but it goes away if I stop sweating. The product looks mostly clear. Since I wear a lot of black, I don’t feel like I’m streaking my clothing with putting on deodorant and cloths. This has been an issue with other deodorants. I’ve been using this unscented Tom’s of Maine deodorant for a while and will probably stick with it. If you are curious, the coconut one smells like coconut (just not the tanning booth overpowering strong smell, so it’s not the same thing.) My husband didn’t like it. There was a floral one that started with a “C” that was fine (I guess) but I can’t find it and probably why I switched to unscented.

Does jot do it for me
Gave me a rash after using it for 2-3 weeks. Needs to be reapplied 2-3 times a day otherwise the BO is hurrendous, but it is a natural deodorant so that is to be slightly expected

Kind to skin and works well.
I am looking to cut down on chemicals in my toiletries and this deodorant fits the bill as it's aluminium and many other things free. However, it's very effective and kind to the skin.

The product itself is good, but don't be deceived by the image: it is just one single stick you are ordering, which makes this exceptionally expensive.

I always purchase this deodorant as it is aluminium free.Have used it for many years and always buy from Amazon as it is really difficult to find anywhere that sells it.Last's for ages so is good value for money.
