Love this closing system

This is the second pouch of this type I'm purchasing as we needed two. It is easy to open and close, definitely much better than the other one that I see more often on Amazon.

I got three of them for lake days in the summer they really do float even with heavy phones in them and it’s a bit of a tight fit with bigger phones but they stay dry you can still use the touch screen and cameras these are fantastic

Keeps things dry but phone was hard to use

I used this while snorkeling. It kept my phone dry and it floated well but I was very disappointed that I was unable to use my camera. The touch screen did not respond well while in the water. I bought it so I could take pictures while in the water so unfortunately it didn't do what I wanted.

Works great

Bright this to carry a phone and hotel room key for playing in the ocean during a beach vacation. We didn’t really swim, just splashed in waist/chest height waves. This was super easy to use and kept everything totally dry. The touchscreen barely worked, but that wasn’t an issue for my purposes. The electronic key worked through it. It does float, which I think is a must. At one point ducking under a wave it came off from around my neck without me noticing and was floating nearby, so I do wish there was a way to tighten the lanyard but that won’t stop me from using it going forward

Actually works

After having terrible experiences with the press-to-seal type of "water-proof" (if you can really call them that) pouches, I will never get one that doesn't have a rolltop folding top like this. Why, you ask? With those press type seals, if you even get a single fleck of sand in them, they will leak, and there's no secondary seal. I lost numerous videos of swimming with sea turtles while on vacation in Hawaii due to this very issue, and I have no doubt in my mind that if I'd had this bag back then, I'd still have those videos. That's because with these roll-top closures, there's multiple seals, and with each fold, less and less water can get through, so even a couple specks of sand won't cause failure (you should still absolutely keep it as clean as possible though). Roll-top seals are so much more reliable, and while I wish this had one more fold's worth of material, I've never had issues with it leaking, and I can use the touchscreen as well as you're going to get with any other similar pouch out there. If you have issues with your fingerprint not working, it's likely you're not pressing the air out enough or have a case that is too bulky to work with it. Also, as for cases, this totally fits a Motorola G7 with Spigen case and a LG G7 ThinQ with a Otterbox Symmetry case, so anything around the size of those will fit just fine, though it floats and seals better without one. I was worried about keeping the case on for protection, but after handling this waterproof pouch in person, it's certainly padded and beefy enough to protect the phone from mild drops.

Does what it's supposed to.

Has kept my phone dry in my kayak and should I tip it will float. Only frustration is getting the phone to slide down into it, the plastic of the case is sticky and causes a lot of drag on the phone when trying to get it down into the case. It is also tough to maneuver it past the float. As stated though it has kept my phone dry even with water splashing from my inept paddling so that's all I care about.

Very pleased with picture quality.

I was very skeptic when it came to this product but I decided to give it a shot as I spend most of my summer on the water and needed something to protect my phone. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. I tested it first with an old phone (threw it off the wharf) and all was good… it floated back in the beach. It’s already taken a bit of a beating between cod fishing and getting full of fish blood etc. Out in kayak full of sand and rocks. My dog jumped off the kayak and dragged it along with her. Once again, it floated right along with her as she swam. Most of all though I’ve been impressed with the quality of the pics. I figured for sure I was going to have to take it out whenever I wanted a good picture but once I got the hang of pressing it down well i hardly see the difference in the photos. My only complaint is once my phone is in and out in the sun I struggle to get it back out as it suctions to the case.

Demorou a ser enviada, apesar de ter comprado 2 unidades do mesmo vendedor, cada unidade foi emitida em uma data diferente, mas as duas chegaram no prazo. Material muito bom do produto, o touch é bom. A ideia é proteger em ambientes próximos a respingos/spray de água, não pra mergulhar. Pra isso, serve muito bem.

Best Case I've Owned

I've tried many other options - from Lifeproof to Ziploc, but haven't found a waterproof solution for m,y phone I actually trust until this one. This is my second Travelon floating pouch and won't be my last. The first one survived over a year of heavy use, though winter and summer - camping, river floats, paddle boarding, beach days, and a ton of hot-tubbing. The plastic/vinyl is thick and durable, the strap is convenient for attaching to a life jacket or board. The photo quality through the clear plastic is even reasonable. The best part is that you can see that the case is sealed due to the vacuum effect and the cushion inside, and you can see when it needs to be replaced before you ruin your device. Worth the extra cost.
