Fortunately, one of our guests brought a 1 oz

We purchased 2 Epicureanism EP-MPOUR Measured Wine Pourers after being invited to join a wine tasting club and told that when it was our turn to host, we would need measured 1 oz. pourers. Our turn came up until April 2016. The two wine pourers had been kept still in their original packaging in a kitchen drawer with corkscrews, foil cutters, and other wine accessories. On the evening of our tasting, neither worked. Both poured short, barely ½ oz. with repeated tries. including tries by guests that have used other 1 oz. measured pourers for several years. Fortunately, one of our guests brought a 1 oz. wine pourer with his wine and food pairing to our tasting, and we were able to use his for the entire evening without a glitch. I wrote to Vinotemp International via their website "Contact Us" link explaining as above, and have not received a response. Don't purchase this brand. There are many other brands that actually work.

Don't waste your money on this pourer

Very frustrating item. Did not perform as described. First, I could never get a consistent 1 oz. pour. Second, the steel ball dropped out into the wine bottle I was testing! Don't waste your money on this pourer.

Great for random pours!

Bought this to take the guess work out of pouring...instead, it caused more guessing, as every pour was a different amount! Probably could be used for a game of sorts, but practically it was useless.

Clever but imperfect metering mechanism

Received this as a gift. The design is clever but not fool proof, but if you take the time to practice your pouring technique, you can produce relatively consistent pours.

It didn't work!

The pourer would only slowly dribble out or pour unrestricted. There was no measured flow amount that seemed to be present. Overall I would not purchase this item again.
