Happy with purchase

I'm 5'2, 127 lbs. 9 was much too wide around waist so exchanged for 7 which fit perfect when was 130 lbs. Today, have it tied as tight as it can go and its comfortable and top edge sits right at hip bone. It would no doubt stay on duck diving under a wave. The sizing is a comfortable fit all around, but probably would be a tad to big if lost a couple pounds as you wouldn't have anymore more room to pull it tight. So currently it's a good fit for height and weight. The material seems very sturdy. Happy with purchase.

A little longer than expected

I really like these board shorts. They fit well and are very comfortable. However, they are a little long if you are on the petite side. I am 5'1" and 125 lbs. Other than that, I love them!

I bought these for a vacation to Mexico and wish I would have gotten more than one. They fit great and are really cute! I normally wear a size 9 or 10 jeans and ordered a 9 in these, perfect fit.

and comfortable enough to move around in

I've searched high and low for boardshorts that don't dig in at the waist, long enough to cover my behind, and comfortable enough to move around in. These fit the ticket. I'm a size 2 in jeans and ordered a size 5 and they are perfect. Slim in the leggings, but not tight. Room to bend and move and still stay covered. They are stretchy and super comfortable. I love love them. Very happy.

Love the shorts, should have bought a size smaller.

I always buy a little bigger in this brand, but I shouldn't have this time. I love these shorts, but if I lose any weight they are going to fall right off me. Great quality though, and fit cute... despite being a bit too big.

Hoping they hold up as well as my other board shorts from Volcom....

Love the board shorts....Volcom fits me well. I have a pair in blue so I went ahead & ordered a pair in black. I’m disappointed that the Volcom patch came off after the first wearing...I literally wore them to the beach yesterday & went to rinse them out today & it fell off. I’m hoping that this is not an omen that they are going to fall apart.
