Fun and educational

These were a hit in our house. They are just the right size and come with a nice variety of sea creatures. You can use them as a learning tool, a bath toy, or in pretend play. We use them to go with our toy boat.Almost all of the creatures look incredibly realistic, with the exception of the lobster. The lobster is a weird color. Just note that, as a children's toy, they have taken some creative liberties with the design. This doesn't really bother us, but it could bother some parents or kids.

Larger than I expected, but great quality

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and size of the figurines. It feels like they're made out of a sturdy rubbery plastic. These toys spend quite a bit of time in the bathtub and the paint has yet to chip or crack. I'm pleased that they detailed the underside of the critters as well. They seem to be quite water-tight. Some of them float and some don't. My toddler has an easy time picking these up even though they're pretty big, about 5-6 inches each. I expect these will last a long time and I will be buying from this manufacturer again.

Better than expected

These are better than expected but the orca kinda disappointed me. But who cares as long as my toddler loves it. I'm using them for my her sensory bin so I was looking for something more affordable than getting safari LTD or schlech. These are perfect and looks like it's durable enough to be tossed around in mud or whatever else since I do have a 1 year old. Perfect companion for the book Ocean life. FYI it is made in China

nice additions to sea decor

I bought this set to use as decorations in an Assisted Living community during Shark Week and I was pleased. While it only included one shark, it worked well with my other sea themed decor. These figures are fairly realistic looking, although the scale is off-- don't expect to be able to use them next to each other for educational purposes. Next I'll be using them in matching games on our Memory Care unit.

Really, better than expected!

These have become an instant favorite for my kids! We have Orca, octopus battles in the bath tub that make Moby Dick look like sissy talk- so much fun! They are a really great size- much to big for any kind of hazard for a younger kiddo. They are well painted (if you care about that sort of thing) and are a superb value. The only thing I would like to caution fellow parents on is the fact that the shark, the Orca and the Dolphin are equipped with what I can only describe as "shrewd whistles from hell" aka, SQUEAKERS..*shudder*... Oh wow! Those will wake you up in the morning. Perhaps before you give them to your children, you could perform some humane squeaker removal surgery, or maybe just plug the silly things up. Anyway- the joy of the children is the goal, right!? Great quality, sturdy, excellent bath toys!

Be prepared to be amazed all ages

My adult daughter has a new pool and I included these sea animals in her birthday box She has sent numerous photos of people playing with them on floats and poolside She even displays them in her house She’s a cancer sign and loves the crab Way more fun than any one imagined

Fun bag of sea creatures

We needed an orca and a seal for a diarama, but couldn't just buy the individuals so I bought this bag of sea creatures which has turned out to be favorites to play with for my 3 year old granddaughters. The orca and seal were the perfect size for the science project.

Excellent quality - exceeded expectations

Quality is amazing - i will recommend buying without a second thought. Gorgeous detailing, very realistic and my 18 month toddler loves to play with it and i get a chance to inform her about names of marine animals like orca, squid, lobster and crab.

Postage a bit steep, but excellent fun!

Although I though the postage was a bit steep, I bought this as a bath toys for two boys (aged 3 and 5). I was surprised how large they were; each about 15cm long. This makes them excellent for little hands. Purists would complain that this means the scale is all wrong, since the Blue Whale is apparently the same size as a Cuttlefish. The selection of animals is completely random, except for the fact that they all live in the sea (dolphin, crab, walrus), but this does mean its good fun to play with. The detail in the painting is pretty lifelike and there are no sharp edges or bits which could be pulled off. However, whilst being pretty tough I doubt that they would stand up to much chewing. Tails, tenticles and flippers are designed to be bitten off so I wouldn't buy this for a child that was teething or given to biting toys. Most of the figures are solid plastic, so they can't get mould inside them like most other bath toys. A few of them have squeekers in (whale, dolphin, killer whale) which was a HUGE hit with the kids and is not mentioned on any of the packaging. The squeekers do allow water to remain in the figures, so they will go mouldy eventually. This is a small gripe. My two boys love them. Now all we need is a diver ... apparently.

Plastic sea animals, decent quality, comparable price.

Bought this set for my 3 year kid. He already has farm and wild animals, and really enjoys playing with them. In a puzzle, there are many different animals and he started placing the plastic animals over the shape in the puzzle. But when there dolphins or other sea animals in the puzzle, he was unable to find them and would get sad. I took a chance and placed an order for these (there was some doubt since the product page does not clearly specify the size of an animal or the number of animals, and the price is also around what one gets from physical stores). So when I got the order, it was well packed, and the size seemed to be fine. When he first saw the lobster and the crab and the squid, he was scared. I played with them for a little while and showed him the animals in the puzzle, and he was happy and added them to this animals collection; making me happy.
