Grandsons liked it a lot

My grandsons like the hippo a lot. It is soft and cuddly. The only problem was with the audio. This hippo was supposed to make a hippo sound. Instead, it makes a kind of strange muted rat-a-tat sound. Well, I have asked for a replacement and that replacement is on its way. Hopefully, its audio will work, though frankly the audio really isn't that important. It is a plush toy, and they usually don't make a sound anyway. Despite the audio problem, I have given it 5 stars. It is very reasonably priced and a nice toy.

Adorable!

My granddaughters love hippos and elephants. This was a special little gift for them and they were really surprised and happy with them. I didn’t realize they actually made the sounds of each animal, that was a plus! For $10, they are really cute stuffies!

Really cute; when I rec'd his recorder didn't work so I had to slit him open 2 replace batteries.

He's really cute; but when I received him his recorder didn't work so I had to slit him open 2 replace batteries. My pup had already seen him & have had so few troubles in the past (2 out of many) with batteries not working in her toys that was glad that was only problem! She love's him to play with. Though I hope all with pups know, anything with batteries inside, do be careful and watch your pups always when they play with all these toys until your very sure they won't tear them apart and swallow the batteries. My pup loves her toys & gives them a good thrashing every so often but has never broken thru any but I still watch her. Be safe with your pups!

Definitely smaller than expected.

It does not make the farming noises it is advertised as. And very Disappointed that the noise it does make completely stopped working within the first 24 hours of receiving it ???? ???? pointless trying to return it too as its been "used"

May alarm small children

Bought for hippo obsessed child...he was very alarmed when it hippoed at him. But it was approved of, which is all you want when buying something for a six year old.

Didn't work

Sadly the hippo didn't make a noise and there was no way of contacting the seller to ask for a new one... it was for a 2yr olds .birthday
