Stupid waste of time. I guess they are what they are. But should not be sold. Too cheap so the $5.00 for these is a waste. To be clear, they came as advertised - size etc. No issue there. Just ... eh ... not exciting. Lol.

First Time User - Awesome Results

I decided that I was going to make a table for our son's backyard deck, but when it came to the top the plans I had obtained called for drilling and installing dowel pegs. I had never done this. I found this product and purchased. Super quick delivery and great communication. I read and re-read the instruction several times until I was comfortable, laid out my pieces and began. Sure enough, within 30 minutes I was gluing the dowels and my top was secured. Then it was just putty in the seams, sand and it was ready to be stained. I've used my dowel guide and pegs on 3 other projects and have never had an issue.

wolfcraft 3/8 fluted wood dowel pins

When I'm working w/ a species of wood that requires strong dowel joints(long expansion between supports) & lumber that needs to be flat(wide boards tend to be twisted or "cupped" or warped) so grain matching & strength is one of my top concerns,I like to use 3/8 dowel pins(titebond III is my preference) & strong glue- these Wolfcraft pins fill the bill, not allowing air to be trapped & they swell when the glue soaks in, to make the joint that much tighter & stronger-any voids or "breaks in the surface" provide a weak spot- don't skimp on clamps & check often w/ a straightedge -Amazon has a good price for a top quality product- you won't go wrong

Just like Ikea

We live at least an hour and a haft from Ikea and know we can have replacement parts for free at there location, but for the amount of driving and gas, this ended up saving us more in the end and was the same pieces ikea have, literally identical!

Better than Home Depot

These ones were a solid snug fit when used in a hole of the same drill size. Had to hammer most in (as it should be). Bought the same size (different brand) from Home Depot and they just slid right in, zero effort.

Lots for the price

The dowels work well and are sturdy but many of them were dirty or marked...kind of weird since the bags were sealed but they got the job done
