VERY starched and hard

I bought the dark blue for my husband, it is very heavy and durable 100% cotton, but it was starched and very rigid when he tried it on, scratchy and uncomfortable - so I washed it in warm/cool thinking it would be easier to wear. Nope! Came out with so many wrinkles and STILL scratchy and stiff. I had to use a Downey spray wrinkle remover AND my steamer to attempt to remove wrinkles and I was not very successful. Not sure what else to do? It's a work shirt so it will be ok out in the field, but I have never had to "wrestle" with a brand new shirt to remove wrinkles and soften it up to wear like I did this one. Buyer Beware!

This is a heavy shirt

Most of the Wrangler shirts are light cotton or blend. This is a heavy, almost denim-like fabric-- great for cold weather or working outside, less appropriate for inside work.

Nice

Well, it's a nice snap denim shirt. I washed it first due to a bit of a new car-type smell. It smells much better now. The size is a little small, but not enough for me to return. Made well just like a Wrangler should be. I would buy it again.

Sizes are strange

First I ordered size 16. It came in and looked very small. My husband tried it on and it would not go around him. I returned that one and ordered size 18. It came in and looked huge. He tried it on and it was very large. We decided to keep the size 18 but do not understand the sizing.

Sturdy shirt, but stiff and has unfinished hem-

I know this said work shirt as a description, but the material is very stiff. I’m certain it will withstand a work environment, but I have purchased workshirts before for my father that were more comfortable and still sturdy. I’ll also mention that the bottom hem is only a Zigzag or overlocked hem done with a serger. None of the fabric on the bottom of the shirt is turned under for a finished hem. My father likes to wear his shirts out, so this would not look finished. I did notice in the description that it did not mention the unfinished look of the hem, but the pictures on the site do show that there’s only a serger hem on a raw edge. I returned it.

Wrangler is always the right fit...

... for me. The Fit: I'm 6', 230# w/ wide chest and shoulders. I wear an XL in Wrangler every, single, time. To be fair, I know this because I like Wrangler products, so I'm a little bias. This shirt; It's denim so if you can't handle that denim rub on your nips you better wear an under shirt. The snap buttons are great, stitching is Wrangler tough. Front pockets big enough for a can of dip or cigs or bubble gum... Whatever your flavor. Front left pocket has a slot for a pen also good for hanging glasses from. The look; Maybe it's because I usually wear T shirts or flannel untucked with jeans and a ball Cap to work most days or maybe it's because I'm just that good looking and no one noticed before. Either way I wore this shirt tucked in a pair of jeans and all the ladies at work commented about how nice I looked. Maybe I just need to tuck in my shirt and throw some product in my mop more often Who knows, either way this shirt is a win. Quality vs. Price: Excellent. The Verdict: Excellent, quality, look and price. A tripple threat folks!

The color anf the fabric are true western shirt. Y normally use XL but this shirt is big than expected. Next time I will buy L.
