Perfect and Quality

Fits rv entrance door

Fits my 2000 national dolphin rv fine. Doesn’t completely cover the outline of the rectangle dead bolt I removed but covers the hole drilled in the door by manufacturer just fine. Mine came with a handset strike plate rather than the flat dead bolt style shown in picture. I just used the plate that was original

Not for novice DIYers

The lock does work well and provides more security than the standard lock usually fitted from the factory. HOWEVER, DIYers beware! I installed this on a motorhome door. It requires a few special tools because of the construction of the typical motorhome door, metal frame, wood core, sheet metal and composite shell, and poorly constructed. It would be easy to end up ruining this type of door and having to replace it if you didn't have some prior experience installing this type of lock on such a door.

Must consider other dimensions that are not shown!

Bought this to replace a broken unit on my motorhome. Was delivered in less than a week. Turns out the original deadbolt shaft was 5/8" wide, but this unit is 3/4", so would not fit without grinding away into the return spring hole. Not everyone has access to a bench grinder like I do.
