Flashy and fun for fairly cheap

So far I love this light. The reason I dinged this light a star is the awkward tank rim clipping set up. It is a nice offer but as it is fully submersible, I would have liked having a suction or weighted option too. Additionally even on the smallest single 10" bar, at least one extra clip would be fantastic. Two clips left me a bit of an awkward piece of cord, but three would have been perfection for my small tank. I have this installed on my Aqueaon 13 gallon widescreen and the light hits all but the most outer corners and has no problem lighting the bottom either. Plants/deco that are glocycle active get the most benefit in the center of the tank but again even the edges are lit. Note: This particular light is specifically intended for glolight reactive items and does not include a full "daylight" mode. Personally, I would highly recommend also having a white daylight LED for plants and aesthetics.

Great add on to my TopFin 29g Starter

This was a quick add on to my TopFin 29g starter tank. Migrating my GloFish tank was made simple with this basic LED add on. Would be nice to have a remote or APP for it... as of right now I just leave it on 24/7 and I'm ok with that.

There is no straight white light function. Completely worthless as a main light.

No straight white light. So it’s blue/black light or nothing at all. Does not work as a main light.

Not as advertised!

I guess the product dimensions in the description are for the box the light comes in because the light is only 10 inches not 15 inches as advertised! It certainly is not for a 20 gallon tank.

pretty good light bar

I bought this for my 20 gallon tank that has a few glo fish tetras in it and it is a decent light bar, but would not be bright enough to use alone - it does well when paired with the white hood light. The cycle on it has different color light modes and it is hard to tell if it's in black light mode or off so there have been a few nights that the fish have slept with the black light on oops! I just wish the white light/blue light combo was brighter.

RIP OFF ALERT !! MISLEADING DESCRIPTION !!

I MAY revise this in the near future. This light does NOT "cycle" throughout a 24 hour period. The description is very misleading and inaccurate and greatly lacking in detail. This light has four modes. And they are extremely weak. But we'll get back to that in a bit. This light has a push button that changes the modes, MANUALLY. PERIOD. There is a mode that is alleged to be "Sunlight" mode. Far from it. But that's the claim. There is a mode that is alleged to be "Moonlight" mode. Far from it. But that's the claim. There is a mode that is alleged to be "Midnight" mode. MAYBE.. But that's the claim. There is a mode that is alleged to be "Twilight" mode. Far from it. But that's the claim. ONLY IN THE TWILIGHT MODE does it "cycle" the light colors. It's just a slow fade back and forth between the blue lights and the black lights. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... So exciting. NOT... When you press the button to select a mode it stays in that mode, period. It does NOT cycle from one mode to another mode throughout the day and night. This light is MANUALLY OPERATED MODES ONLY. The product is totally misrepresented and the description is vague and intentionally misleading and deceptive. Had I known this in advance I would not have bought this light. I feel cheated and ripped off but since I now have the thing I'm going to go ahead and keep it. It does provide a minimum amount of light that almost makes my Glofish look better. I have a brand new 29 gallon tank which is the first time I've had an aquarium in 50 years. So many things have changed so much in the last half century. So pretty much everything is new to me now, LED lights didn't exist the last time I had fish. The light I bought was listed as being for a 20 gallon tank. The only size above that says it's for a 55 gallon tank. I had no way to know the physical size of the lights or how bright they would be, OR NOT BE. I was worried the the 55 gallon sized light would not fit in my tank so I opted for the 20 gallon size. And it's tiny. There's room in my 29 gallon tank for six or eight of the things. The ONE light stick that it came with is very dim and weak, in it's supposed "Sunlight" mode it's very dim, not much brighter than a 4 watt night light, actually it's probably half that dim. The other modes are much, much dimmer and utterly useless unless the room is in total darkness. Really, what the hell is the point of this thing? It does not cycle from one mode to another at all. I'm really getting very angry about this as I sit and type this review, more and more I'm leaning toward sending it back for a refund because it's really lame, weak and useless. Because this thing is so weak and lame I will continue to use the LED lights built into the hood that came with my tank kit. I put that light on a cheap $4 lamp timer to go on and off with the sunrise and sunset. It's very bright but it doesn't enhance my Glofish at all and it too is manually operated. The only thing I can do is build a little circuit to trigger the cycles for me. But considering how WEAK this thing is I don't know if I really should keep it or not. I could (should) send it back and buy a much better light for about the same money. Apparently no one makes a light that cycles over a 24 hour period and my only option is to build one myself. BE WARNED, THIS LIGHT DOES NOT CYCLE --> MODES <-- !!!!!!!!!!

Not enough for a 20 gal

The different lighting effects are cool, but this little 6" light is not enough for a 20-gallon tank as it states. I think you would need at least one more to get sufficient light for a 20 high, and possibly even three more to sufficiently light up a 20 long. If you use the light alternating mode it would be tricky to coordinate the two lights to transition between blue and black at the same time. The whole kit should come with two of these lights wired into one switch/plug. Overall, it does what it says, but it just isn't powerful enough.

It's Okay, Not Great.

The blue / white light is pretty. The clip is really tricky to mount. The black light /UV is not very strong/bright and not really giving the effect I had hoped for. The moonlight cycle is too fast in it's transition and seems to scare the fish.

Not enough for 10 gallon

I only have a 10 gallon aquarium and the light was supposed to be good enough for 20, IT’S NOT!!! What a waste of money

Lacks an only white setting.. so it’s always blue.. it’s has white leds.. but blue always on with them… easy mix for manufacturers would b to have 5 settings

Buena compra

Si tienes peces para este tipo de luz reseltaran sus colores, para una pecera de 50 litros está muy bien para algo más grande si necesitas una lampara más. La lampara es impermeable por lo que si se te cae al agua no pasa nada.
