Convenient

It doesn't always dispense exactly the right amount, but for keeping the cat on a schedule it's nice. Connectivity for the camera is hit or miss sometimes it loads forever and never gets to the video, other times it pops right up. For the money, this was definitely a good buy.

Easy setup

This has made feeding our cats a breeze. Setup was easy, and being able to watch them has been helpful when we're not home.

It's pretty easy to set up using the Smart Life app. The portion sizes are super small, so you'll inevitably end up feeding multiple portions for one serving. Nothing really wrong with that, as the small portions allow for more precise feeding amounts, which is good. This is a relatively small unit, so if you have a lot of small dogs or cats, it may not be big enough. I have two main issues with this feeder. The first is potential jamming. The grain-free cat chow that I use is a flatter type of food and is getting stuck under the blades inside that help dispense the food. Because of this, I feel strongly that this unit is okay if you're home and can verify that it worked properly, but not okay if you'll be away and are relying on it to feed your pets. The second issue is that it's plastic. Many cats are sensitive to plastic and will develop what looks like pimples all over their chin. This is a skin reaction to plastic. The camera is nice as I can see if my senior girl comes to eat. I do wish the camera actually pointed down enough to see how much she is eating (you can't tilt the camera down), but at least I can see how long she's at the food dish for. Hope this helps.

So convenient! | Living Enrichment Automatic Cat Feeder

Really wonderful and convenient pet feeder. My parents live one state over and so we visit them frequently, and often want to stay the night last minute, but can't because of the cats. This has made making those decisions so much easier and less stressful because now we know they'll be getting fed on time no matter what. Easy setup (easier than I expected, honestly) and totally reliable - as long as there's food in the chamber, it will be dispensed on time. Bowl is easy to clean. We've tried several types/varieties of food in ours and they have all fit without issue. Overall very very pleased with this product and would unquestionably recommend it to others!

Scared my cat but works like it says. Decent camera quality.

My cat is chubby so I thought an auto feeder might help us both. This feeder was easy to set up and use. The app is easy to understand. The camera quality is decent. My cat is a chicken though and won't go near this thing anymore lol. He must think its haunted. I am hoping that she will get used to it, if not I may let my little dog use it instead. Her food fits in it as well.

two month use review

Good: 1. Good capacity with clear view of remaining food 2. Easy to setup and useful app 3. Can be voice controlled with smart devices Bad: 1. Non-metal dish 2.
