Amber 1/2 gallon glass jug

I purchased 3 of these jugs for a friend that has started making their own beer. The size and color of the glass was perfect to properly store the beer as it finished it's process. The only disappointment was that there wasn't any lids/caps included and I had to make a special trip to a few local stores to find one that did. For that reason I gave it 4 stars.

Great for Tea

I make Essiac Tea from the herbs that I purchased here on Amazon and this is perfect for keeping it fresh in the fridge. I just wish that it had come with a cap. We found a lid from another bottle that worked, but it is great for this purpose.

Came without a Cap to bottle

Bottle is great and as pictured except I never got a cap for the bottle. Not sure you’d want this product without a cap.

NO CAPS??!!

This bottle does NOT come with a cap! It shows the cap on the product description photo, there is even a separate photo of the caps. It doesn't say anywhere on the photos that it doesn't come with the caps. WAY DOWN to the bottom of the page there is one little line that says caps not included. Would have been nice to have that information at the top of the page and NOT have photos of the jar with a cap on it. I should have searched a little more to buy one that has the caps. I did after getting these bottles, and found lesser expensive ones that INCLUDED the caps!

Great brown bottle for storin essiac tea. Could be better if lid was included. My two arrived without one.

Used this jug many times.

Used this jug many times for home brew and it is nice. I fill a couple of these up for each batch to have them in the fridge (mead.) Instead of doing wine bottles or beer bottles, I just need to clean, sanitize, fill, and cap. Put them in the fridge and they are ready to enjoy.
