Alpine birdbath

I had an issue with the piece between the top of the birdbath that connects it to the base. The first time I took the top off to clean it, I noticed the piece that connects the top and the bottom came unglued. I contacted Alpine customer service and they apologized and sent me a brand new birdbath. Their customer service was excellent in resolving the issue to my satisfaction. Thank you for standing behind your product.

Amazingly beautiful

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but this bird bath is absolutely beautiful! I love it so much. I may just buy another one for a Mother’s Day gift!

I love the antique look

The media could not be loaded. I love my new bird bath. The only problem was that it came damaged. One of the birds on the bowl had broken off. I contacted Amazon and agreed on a discount and was able to repair it without too much trouble.

Birdbath arrived with the piece that was originally attached to the bowl unglued. That I had to re-glue to the bowl. Disappointing that it may happen again over time. Where it interlocks with the base. It also appeared used but it may have had that weathered look.

The materials used can have an affect on the performance in cold climates

Mine came assembled. However, I sent mine back because it is not exactly what it claims to be and we have very unpredictable weather in Colorado and I didn’t want it to crack up if we had snow after a heat-spell, which happens more often than you would think. I’ve seen pictures of people with their bird bath out in the snow, and I’m certain I read somewhere that this model a birdbath needs to be brought in during cold weather. This birdbath is not 100% ceramic. The the lower section is another type of material encased in a ceramic type material, which may actually be an extremely thin ceramic coating. But I doubt it, because I believe that would make it too fragile to ship. This is the reason it is so light weight. I thought I was getting a good deal on a completely ceramic bird bath and was curious about the instructions to bring it in during cold weather, so I wanted to share this information with others. Unfortunately, we have to pay the big bucks for the heavy ceramic bird baths that everyone loves if we live in a colder climate. If you live in a warm climate, I don’t see why you wouldn’t enjoy this very much, but it may be a little top-heavy. I don’t know because I didn’t put mine outside and fill it with water to check.

Birdbath

The bird Bath had a cracked area where each bird was placed on the bowl. I contacted Alpine, spoke with Grace, who could not have been more helpful. I sent her the needed information along with photos and she immediately took care of it. She was very helpful time efficient and I am lookingForward to doing more business with the Alpine company based on her great customer service.

Much easier to keep clean than a concrete bath. My birds like it.
