Vibrated too much
After a few uses on a very nice new table saw the blade caused a lot of vibration and buffeting that was very disconcerting. I had read that this blade wasn't as stiff as other or that the lettering was printed too thick which might have contributed, but also birch seems to gunk up blades pretty quickly so it could have been that. Swapped it for a freud and which cut slightly cleaner.

Quiet and Smooth Cutting
I could not believe how quiet and smooth cutting this blade is. It exceeds my expectations. I was so excited how well it performed I cleaned up my 30-year-old table saw so it would look as good as it cut.

Conflicted
After using a WW2 for all my hardwoods and a freud ultimate plywood for all my sheet goods I figured it was time to invest in a dedicated rip blade. My WW2 stays pretty sharp and does a great job, but it will sometimes bog down in thicker lumber and I get a few more burnt, but smooth, edges than I'd like. I buy all s3s lumber, spend A LOT of time with board selection, don't run a jointer and rarely use a planer. So... I like my cuts clean off the table. I spent more hours than necessary searching for a blade. I was initially leaning towards freuds 24t heavy rip but was swayed away by a few youtube reviews talking about blade marks. Most of the reviews mentioned freuds 30t glue line rip blade as their favorite. While looking at the blade on Amazon, the Amana popped up. Used like new for 50 bucks. Cheaper than the freud, similar tooth profile and good reviews. Done. Added it to the cart and had it in a few days. First project was ripping some 4/4 soft maple for face frames. I was instantly blown away at the ease of feeding. I almost couldn't tell the difference between just sliding the maple on the saw top and when the blade started cutting. I've never had a blade cut so effortlessly. But, I was disappointed to see the marks left along the edge. Honestly not that bad, but they were there. I could definitely feel them but it took the right light to really see them. Definitely worse than any blade I've run. They either needed a pass in the planer or some sanding. I finished my cutting, assembled the face frames and sanded out the marks. It definitely added some extra sanding time that I'm not used to and I know more will pop when I shoot my first coat. Disappointed with the results I decided to try the freud 30t glue line rip blade today. I instantly noticed a little more normal resistance while cutting and it too left marks. Probably more marks..... But, they aren't as deep. I cut 8/4 white oak, 6/4 poplar and 4/4 maple using one blade on each side. The freud won the scientific test conducted when I closed my eyes and judged the smoothness. The entirely accurate scientific test was replicated by my unenthusiastic 14 year old with the same results. Science doesn't lie. More marks not as deep still yields much less sanding. The frued has made the cut and the amana is being returned. Slightly bent tooth? Maybe. .003 runout at the base of the gullets. Maybe the Freud has two slightly less bent teeth creating more marks that aren't as deep? I honestly expected better from both, but the Freud will do.

Very nice blade.
This is truly a glue joint cutter. Unlike some that say they are, this one is. Get one.

Fixable wobble....
The media could not be loaded. Newest update: Well, I found out what causes the wobble and was able to fix it. I've seen some stupid product defects in my life but this really takes the cake. You see, where the blade contacts the flange, Amana has decided to put a picture of a block of wood and some text. You can actually feel the raised letters and the picture when you pass your fingers over the surface. I removed the print with my fingernails and a scotchbrite pad, and the blade wobble is now down to 0.0015", with the cut quality much improved. It's a really good blade now. I guess I'll be removing the print from my other sawblade as well, see if that makes it run truer. **facepalm** It is still not as good as my Freud glue line ripping blade, though, because the blade *sings* when I use it to shave only a half or quarter curve and leaves massive marks. It's just not very stiff. It's just not good enough for the price. Update: I just got a dial gauge, enabling me to measure the wobble in the blade. It turns out that it is approximately 0.008". For comparison, the wobble with my Freud Fusion blade is less than 0.003" (and would probably be lower if I had cleaned the thing). I switched the blades two times to confirm the measurements. The Amana wobbles WAY more than the Freud (see attached video). That, then would explain the underwhelming cut quality that was present straight from the start. Not sure if I can return the blade, given that I'm based in the Philippines. Original review: I bought this blade because I had problems ripping really thick stock with my combination blade (Freud Fusion). (As it turns out, that was because my riving knife was misaligned) People told me I would get smoother rip cuts on normal stock with the Amana than with the Freud, which already made perfect cuts. Unfortunately, this blade never managed the kind of perfect, glassy cuts on teak that the Freud produces consistently. I guess this blade would be better if you have an underpowered saw and want to cut thick hardwood, or if you have to rip large amounts of hardwood really fast, but if you mainly want a perfect glue line cut, then this is not the right tool.

Recommended.
I used this saw blade to cut some 8/4 maple. It left a smooth burn free surface. Great blade. Used on a 3HP cabinet saw.
