Came Scratched
I love these boards. I use them to tape my watercolor paper onto. I took this one out of its plastic wrapping which didn’t appear to be damaged, but it was scratched under the plastic cover.

to tape my watercolor to! I even cut some thick felt, adhered to one side of the board-one side is for Western watercolor, the other for Chinese Brush painting!

This is a great multi use board, tho pricey.
This is a great board with multi uses, as I currently use it as a writing board. I'm looking forward to actually getting it gessoed to do some oil painting.

perfect for stretching watercolor paper
i used to mount my 9x12 watercolor papers on the 11X14. these hardbord's can take a lot of abuse and are waterproof. you can reuse them over and over. then i had this sudden idea to buy the 9x12 and use rapesco's reusable supaclips to stretch the paper so i don't have to use gummed tape. just brilliant! i wish i had thought of it sooner. took a picture. i haven't wet the paper yet and secured all borders with clips. this hardbord will serve me for a long time for sure.

Great support board for watercolor and pastel painting
This works great for support for watercolor and pastel paintings. I use blue tape to tape down my watercolor paper or pastelmat and then I can paint with no issues.
