Great for teaching

I was very concerned about my son not talking when he turned one. I used these cards every morning and afternoon and he started making animal noises in just a couple of weeks! It isn’t exactly what I intended but it helps ???? I know these cards are meant for older kids. However I believe it did great for my son and I’ll keep using them. I wish they were thicker so my son wouldn’t have folded them so easily. But then again, he’s a baby and these are intended for older kids.

Good for kids to identify with

The photos are great for younger kids to identify with. I use them in my k-5 special education class to talk and write about.

Good amount for price

Just got these in today so have not used them with kids yet. I bought them for actual photos of items to help supplement learning for my daughter and kids I babysit. Here is my 1st impression Pros: There are a lot of cards for the price, large easy to see images, great for receptive and expressive learning, much cheaper than competitors cards Cons: cards may not hold up long overtime (can be easy fix by laminating though), some pictures are little blurry to eye, some images are outdated, personally not a fan of some of the farm animals having tags on them My main purpose was the animals and food categories though. I wanted qaulity real life images and not just clipart pictures. This set has lots of animals and good amount of food (could be lot more though) so definitely works for my purpose. Edit 8 months later: this is a great set with variety, my daughter loves when I pull out the cards. Great for building language skills, animal sounds, sign language, receptive skills, picture to the object matching. So many uses and was such a great purchase. I like the realistic photos and the variety of this set and so does my daughter, this has definitely supplemented her learning and exposure to different items/words.

I really like these. The cards are clear, simple pictures. They have been a wonderful resource for my toddler.

The best

I love this cards are big in size the photos are clearly, what i like most in the back thay have questions about photos and this is a product that everybody can use for long time with kids in to many ways, and are strong cards

Better with older students

The pictures are nice and large and there are good guided questions on the back of each card but I've found that little kids don't really like them much and they don't have the vocabulary yet to answer the questions. Teens or adult English learners do better with these.

Good resource

I am a speech therapist and have used these cards many times with many different aged kids. There is a good variety of every day objects and actions. I wish that the cards were sturdier as it is easy for the kids to bend them. They also did not come sorted into categories, but did come with dividers.

I love these!

I love these and so does my three year old. I like that they have real pictures. I originally purchased a set for $60. I returned them because this is such a better deal and has more things a child can recognize!
