I like this

Helps redness

Iv recently been diagnosed with popular pustular rosacea. Iv been having really red angry breakouts and this has helped the first is a close up of my cheek during a flare second is a few days after using the cream. My acne is still very bad but the redness is much better

i have kinda sensitive skin with pink cheeks and i ordered this by mistake instead of the regular lol. it’s really lightweight and doesn’t have a strong smell, great for oily or just normal skin that doesn’t like a heavy moisturizer :)

Been using this, really like it as a cleanser

Aveeno is a trusted brand for me, so I was happy to find this nice face cleanser. It comes out as a foam so that is sort of nice,( though what is it that makes you think if it's foaming it's cleaning?). Regardless, it is a nice cleanser, no annoying scent, easy on the skin, doesn't leave skin tight, and a good price. I am happy to use it. Don't really notice any extra benefits in terms of my skin, but I don't really struggle with skin redness in the first place.

Microneedling, Dermaroller, and other skin device

I've been adding this, including the serum, into my mixture, which I put together myself for my micro-needling, as I do it heavily every 2-3 weeks. I do make sure I injure my skin (my dermatologist said the only way to renew skin is to injure it). The combination of all mixtures makes my healing, which was from 10-14 days. Now down to 3 days, the swelling is already gone. It takes only 8 days to see the full result.

actual improvements!

My mom has the no acne rosacea, and that trait has been passed on to me. While it's not as prominent, it still makes me insecure. I stumbled upon the Aveeno Calm & Restore line in December 2022 and thought I'd give it a try. Specifically, I've been using the: Triple Oat Hydrating Face Serum, Redness Relief Moisturizing Cream, Redness Relief Foaming Cleanser (morning), and Nourishing Oat Cleanser (night). Not only does but skin feel as soft as ever, it's making a noticeable difference in reducing my redness! My mom and I were in the car together and she asked if I was wearing foundation. I said no and asked why she asked, and she said "your skin doesn't look as red". That was THE moment for me! It's very reassuring when people give you unprompted remarks like that.

NOT THE SAME as Aveeno Ultra Calming Cleanser

You know that smell when you first turn on the heat in the fall? The smell of burnt dust (or whatever)? Yeah, that's what this cleanser smells like. And contrary to what other reviewers say, it is NOT the same as the beloved Aveeno "Ultra Calming Foaming Cleanser." The list of ingredients is not the same at all. Why would you discontinue that, Aveeno? This is NOT an acceptable replacement. I used "Ultra Calming" for YEARS and YEARS. The only thing I can say about the this cleanser is that it's moisturizing. I guess it's time for me to try other dermatologist recommended brands like CeraVe and La Roche-Posay.
