Heavy duty, no problems

Installed on auxiliary 900 cca truck battery to switch between front and rear winch power, turned to "off" when not in use. Battery runs other things during normal operation, so is always grounded. Running 0/2 gauge wire for 12,000 lb. winch, no problems. Spend the extra money and buy the right sized components for any heavy draw electrical, especially important the further it's mounted from the battery. Ran on positive side because I don't won't 25 ft. of hot 0/2 gauge wire running down the frame rail until I need it. One must remember that the entire frame and body are grounded. All 1/2" eyelet ends are crimped, battery cables can get hot and melt the solder right out. A high amp fuse is also recommended, can save your equipment and greatly reduce chance of fire. Hope this helps somebody :)

Usual Blue Sea quality. Needed a cut out capable of 500A for a winch, this fits that bill for less than the cost of their ML Battery Switch I’ve used previously plus I wanted to be able to switch between two winches.
