Not good

This machine is not big enough to mix up anything. I can not get it to mix up ice cream for milkshakes. It does not have much power.

Would not purchase again

It’s OK for making scrambled eggs, but if you put too much ice cream in it, it’s not powerful enough to make a malt in a reasonable amount of time

Not very sturdy

I thought it would’ve been a little bigger and more sturdy. It takes awhile to make a milk shake since it’s not that sturdy.

Good looking machine, but too small.

I bought this because it looked like the nostalgic mixer my aunt has.. Very... Very nice looking machine, well made and pretty. I love the color. Very small and compact even though the mixing cup is large enough to use. Not really an adult sized kitchen tool though. The motor has more than enough power on hi or low but with a flat round smooth mixing blade, it doesn't mix very fast vertically. Also, the mixing wand gets in and out of balance and vibrates too much. Mixing wand / blade is not removable or changeable. Boo. Mixing blade does not reach anywhere near the bottom of the mixing cup. Moving the cup up and down to mix is not an option because the cup safety switch shuts off the machine if you move the cup. This is more of a cute toy, albeit a very pretty, WELL MADE, nice looking, quality machine that would be perfectly suited for kids. (The mixing blade is round and not sharp, so very safe). My children are grown now, but this would be a great addition to their "kid's kitchen" right next to the Easy Bake Oven.. It does make a good milkshake. Even though I think the price was fair, I'm going to send it back and get something bigger. If Brentwood would make a larger, adult'ier version (SAME COLOR) that addressed the issues above, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Four Stars For Price, Nostalgia, Style, and Craftsmanship.

Very small and not powerful

This is like a child's machine. Cute and love the color but the spinning thing is way to small to mix the ice cream. We ending up a lot of milk to make it work. Not worth the money and I can't ship back as I no longer have the packaging :(

Not meant for Ice cream milkshake maker

Has a cheap weak motor, will easily overheat if trying to make a milkshake with milk, and ice cream. If you're only doing syrup and milk, then that will work because there no solids like ice cream which it can't handle very well. Also not kidding will easily overheat, because it's really is a cheap weak motor inside, my blender I got for same price years ago is 10x better and can handle making milkshakes with ice cream, and can chop frozen fruit as well with no problems, if you plan to make ice cream milkshake for the family, just get a blender you thank yourself, not kidding.

Packaging

The box this arrived I was horribly damaged. It was a bridal shower gift and I was so embarrassed. The blender was great but the packaging used was not at all intended for this product.

Great savings

Takes a long time to mix the ice cream and milk. Got it at a discount price due to a mark on the machine as per description but did not notice any damage. Great price overall
