Great Low-Cost Coupler for my Lawn Utility Dumpcart
I was looking for a low cost alternative to convert my utility dumpcart to a 1&7/8" coupler for fast and easier hookups. I was utilizing a post/pin to secure the cart to tractor/golf cart that was clumsy to couple/uncouple and also too much play allowing the cart arm to bounce up and down when pulling over rough terrain. This coupler is far sturdier than I require for this cart which can only handle 500-800 pounds anyway. I had two existing holes in the cart arm (including the hole I previously used to couple the cart) and this coupler lined up perfectly with them. Installation was very easy other than there are no bolts supplied with this coupler. I'm sure every application is different so you will have to utilize a bolt strategy based on the arm of your specific cart. Bolted it up and now the cart is super easy to hook-up by just closing the clasp as well as securely pulls the cart without banging up/down on uneven surfaces. Far cheaper than anything I found at local tractor supply store.

It was a sturdy enough hitch coupler for what I needed, I just needed the channel of the coupler to be larger. It was my mistake but it did work in the meantime while I found the appropriate size coupler.
