I love the smell, but having a naturally oily scalp, I was hoping this would be more clarifying and voluminous. Instead it weighed my roots down and as a result my hair did not look as clean as it should have after shampooing.

Love the Cupcake products
1. Cupcake makes great products that are not tested on animals 2. Quality is great and really pampers my hair-especially good for color treated hair 3. The smell is very nice and not overpowering 4. Wish Amazon carried all their products; buying in a regular store is a bit pricey

Pumpkin Pie in my hair
I bought this to use after spending a day in the pool to wash out the chemicals. I like it okay, it does clean my hair. However, the scent is nutmeg and cinnamon, which is what you season a pumpkin pie with. I think it’s supposed to smell like a pumpkin “cake”. I didn’t think I’d mind it much but I washed the day before yesterday and I can still smell it. I used a vanilla scented hair mask after washing, so yeah, I smell like a pie for sure. Be prepared for that scent to be strong and to linger a bit.

I'm on the fence about the scent, but I like that it's vegan and animal cruelty free.

Good shampoo
I really like this shampoo a lot. It helps with somewhat greasy hair that I've developed. The only downside is that every bottle I've gotten so far leaks out of the top.

I love Cake products
Smells really good, leaves your hair feeling light & not greasy. Cake products really work well with curly hair.

Not worth the money
My first initial reaction to the shampoo was "dang, this stinks" of course you shouldn't complain about the smell but more of how it works so I didn't mind the smell to much. Once I applied the shampoo to my hair and rinsed it, it had made my hair very dry. After a couple of weeks of using it I noticed bumps starting to form ontop my head and it didn't even help with my greasy hair. Would not recommend or buy again.

It works!!
I have never used micellar water before but have heard lots about it. I needed shampoo and tried Cake. I like it and it cleans really well. I used mousse and hairspray so I needed a shampoo that really cleaned my hair. This one does the trick.
