Right tool for the job.

Absolutely fantastic for yanking nails through 100+ year old trim wood, making it much easier to restore. I've been using the Channellock 357s for years, smashing my fingers when pulling nails from big blocks where I needed more leverage. Get the right tool for the job. Work smarter... etc.

Best thing to remove nails

I had to pull hundreds of finish nails from a wall that had paneling and this was he greatest. Any type of nail this tool is my go to tool. A shear off nail a stubborn big nail a wood screw that popped a head. This is my favorite hand tool.

Good at nail pulling

Nice pliers. Haven't tried using them to cut anything, but they are good at removing nails from wood. Strong tool and feels good in your hands.

Channellock Pliers are Fantastic

I've developed a bit of an obsession with Channellock tools. Quality "as good" or "nearly-as-good" as any top-of-the-line pro tools (e.g. Knipex, Klien, Greenlee) but prices that aren't much higher than regular consumer stuff (e.g. Mastercraft, Stanley, Crescent). If you've only bought consumer grade pliers before, these will blow you away. I don't do concrete work, but these are great for cutting protruding nails, trimming tie wire, clipping points off of barb-wire fence, removing staples, crimping hose clamps (careful, they'll cut them to bits if you squeeze). I also bought the 11 inch version because the price was right, but in retrospect, I have trouble envisioning what you might do with one that you can't do with the other... but now I have a spare!
