Seems solid, but doesn't fit

I got this because it's supposed to be an exact fit for my new griddle and should be sufficiently heavy duty at $40. It's not. Let's get the pros out of the way really quick. It looks good. It's definitely water proof. Ok. Cons. It doesn't actually fit the model it's supposed to, the 8428 model covered griddle with side shelf. Every picture shows it does. In actual practice it is so snug when trying to maneuver it around the shelf that it gets hung up. Any actual use of force would rip through the cover with the shelf corner. Being taught is one thing but since you can't get it past the shelf it creates a well on top. Which means in the event of actual rain, you would have water just sitting on top of your griddle. Additionally, although the material feels nice and durable it's incredibly thin. Which means if it's actually being covered and left on your patio or deck etc, it's not going to last long. I sent it back for refund and ordered an $18 one made of thicker material that's a few inches all around bigger. We'll see how that works. But definitely don't buy this one.

Does not fit quite right

I bought the cover made for my grill model. The velcro straps on one side do not meet. The cover itself doesn't seem to fit properly, but it works. I think it may have been a second. If I could do it again I would order directly from Char-Griller and just pay the shipping.

Love it

Love it for cooking but it stinks when have to collapse it for travel. Practically have to tear it apart to move it

Covers my 2 burner Char Griller perfectly!

This is actually for a 3 burner. I think it fits my 2 burner perfectly. The other ones are shorter. This seems to cover more area including the tank! Very happy with my purchase.
