Didn't realize they added a metal loop? ...makes it more junky. Don't need to hook it up.

I owned another one of these juicers. Loved it. Bought this one but realize they added a metal loop at the top. Makes it more junky and I have no need for that loop. You couldn't even hang it from a wall as the juicer is too chunky and you would need a long nail or hook?!

nake is easy to get lemmon juice

I use this several times a week to make lemmon water and juice limes and lemmons for cooking.

Wastes some juice

The press is very effective and easy to use. The downside is that the press pieces do not touch when closed. Instead, the designer assumes that I do not want to squeeze tightly. Maybe this keeps from squeezing citrus rind, perhaps sometimes bitter, but I deliberately want the oils resident in the rind. I wound up stacking multiple citrus halves in this press to get enough squeezing.

For lemons and limes

This has been handy for adding lemon juice and/or lime juice to recipes. Seems sturdy, and efficiently extracts more juice than any other method I am aware of.

This makes a great Gift!

This lemon-squeezer puts all others of similar design to shame. It's the sturdiness that sets it apart -- no contest. (and yes, it can work for limes and small oranges, too.) It does require some serious muscle to do the job, so keep that in mind -- I gave it to my parents, who love it, but my mom doesn't have quite what it takes, so dad has to step in. My other gift-recipient LOVES it and uses it all year round for lemonade. This is a Top Notch kitchen item -- thank you, Chef'n! **BE SURE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, AS THIS IS SOMEWHAT COUNTER-INTUITIVE**
