Great gadget

Too good to be true

I thought this would be the best tool since the craw hammer. I followed the instructions but could never get the tool to work as it was advertised. After many attempts at shelling and deveining a pound of large shrimp and having to discard many, I ended up doing it the old, time tested way. It sits in my kitchen drawer and I doubt I will use it again.

Cuts prep time in half!

We eat a lot of raw shrimp unshelled. My husband grumbles, but always peels them. When I saw this I thought it might be helpful. He was hesitant to use it, then said it cut the time spent to shell the shrimp in half! This was a time saver that made his work easier, so a good buy.

It works great, almost as good as you imagined

A great gadget that shells and Devains shrimp cleanly and easily. I usually cook paella with the shells on, for the most flavor. Here’s a GREAT HINT, remove the shells and use them in the liquid (saffron broth).. You will get the best of two world, shell-less shrimp, and tasty dinner????????????????
