Good quality, but front is a little short
Very light weight rain jacket, with a warm fleece lining for the torso and head . Lining in the arms is not fleece, but more like polyester and breathable. Pros : -Good quality stitching and construction as with most Columbia products I've used in the past -Vibrant color -The hood had a little lip on the front that I think is nice to keep rain drops off the face, and seems more like a hat -Has two nice sized front pockets Cons: -The front of the jacket is much shorter than the back of the jacket. I really think this is just the style of the jacket and not a defect of some sort. It's fine, it still works and looks good, but it would be better if it was the same length all the way around. If it was a really windy day, the air could go inside the front of the jacket -There are also no bungee cords or velcro around the waist, wrists or the hood to close the openings in case of a lot of wind. The wrist area is partially elasticized, however. -Not enough reflective material, at least from what I saw in the day time. Overall : The black jacket is the best value if you don't mind dressing your toddler in black, but the colored jackets are better for the outdoors and of course more expensive. We do like the jacket, and will keep it, but please know the front is shorter than the back. We purchased the XXS which is size 4-5 in U.S. sizes . Our toddler (age 3) is tall for her age, and the arms fit a little long, but this is perfect as I wanted a jacket that would last this year and next year.

How is this so inexpensive? Wow!
A beautifully, fuzzy lined, rain coat! My daughter adores how soft this is and is her go to jacket for the Pacific Northwest.

Sizes runs exact.
*It is not as Fushia in person as it is in my pictures* This jacket is beautiful. Whilst browsing for fall / winter gear for my little girl I stumbled on this and fell in love with it. She's very girlie and loves pink and purple. I like dark colors because for every girlie thing about her there is a part that loves to paint her body with mud like she is going to war. This is a fantastic weight for spring and fall jacket, water resistant and fleece lined so it's definitely enough to keep the chill away, but not so much for them to get hot. We use jackets like on colder days too with more fleece layered beneath. My daughter is hard to pick out clothes for. She'll be 3 in March '19. She's always been very small for her age but she's also kind of awkward shaped. She has a longer torso and a big belly, so she sizes up tops before bottoms. She's somewhere in the range of 26lbs and 33/34". Some 2Ts fit her very small, while some 3Ts ru huge. I'd say this runs exactly how it should, with the exception of the hood being a bit too short. Unfortunately, I've ordered things from Columbia in the past that have run big, so I chose 2 instead of 3. So while this jacket fits, she will only get one season out of it.

It Mostly Does the Job
So, we live in So Cal where when it rains it usually does so for a week. I was looking for more of a lined raincoat like I've gotten my daughter in the past. It really didn't seem like an option unless we wanted to go the route of huge puffer snow weather type of jacket, which I knew she'd hate. So, I went off of what others said about sizing and that really did the trick, though to be honest it could have been a little roamer in the chest area. My daughter is 6 years old, 46" tall. She wears clothes in a M 7/8 and I've been buying her L 10/12 jackets that I know I want her to have time to grow into (I would rather not rebuy jackets every six months especially if it's something she gets attached to). I kept in mind that I also wanted her to be able to layer underneath it (baselayer shirt, shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie). I ended up purchasing a L 14/16 in Columbia sizing. Let me just tell you, this is NOT a standard 14/16. It's BARELY a 10/12. So please keep that in mind when purchasing. The sleeves are LONG for my daughter (we roll up twice) but the body of it really isn't. So, how has the product held up thus far? It's definitely nice because it's thin enough that it can be shoved into a backpack if it stops raining and it's not weighty or puffy. My BIG con that I keep running into is that the zipper keeps randomly splitting in the middle. I'll unzip and rezip and so far it's been fine, but not something that I expect from the Columbia brand. Maybe it's just us, but that's just the experience we've had with it so far. Would I buy again? That's probably a 50/50 for this product. If it continues with the weird zipper thing, I'd likely order a few jackets that had free returns and see if there was a better option out there. I mainly really went with the Columbia brand because I've had such good jackets for myself in the past.

Almost perfect
A little more thin and not as warm as we’d like. But it’s cute and waterproof and fits well. Got a medium for my average size thin 8 year old.

Nice, light-weight jacket
Just as described - light-weight rain coat, has fleece lining which is nice for fall on the west coast , enough room to layer when temperatures drop Super cute; good quality!

It's warm and protects for the wind and rain.
I like the colour and the fit. It's a bit longer at the back. I gave it as a gift to my great granddaughter who loves pink.
