Diplomat Estate 6 -kellon kelaus ja säilytyskotelo. Diplomat Wood Finish Six -kellokello, jossa on kermanvärinen sisustus ja älykäs sisäinen kaksisuuntainen ajastinohjaus sekä lisätila 7 kellolle. Erityisesti suunnitellut kompaktit automaattikellomme pitävät suosikkiautomaattikellosi käärittyinä ja valmiina silloin, kun tarvitset niitä. Melkein hiljainen japanilainen Mabuchi-moottori pyörittää kelloja, kun et käytä niitä, jäljitellen luonnollista päivittäistä liikettä ranteessa ollessasi. The worst POS winders ever

I bought a six watch Diplomat winder. Lest their be any confusion, this IS the GARMIN winder rebranded with the name Diplomat. The first one that arrived was a 2 watch winder though I ordered the 6 watch. Amazon, to their credit, immediately overnighted a six watch winder - next day delivery. I was and am impressed by Amazon's customer service! The 6 watch winder rotated VERY fast when I set it up. The watches - mostly heavy watches like Breitlings - actually started to rotate out of the device. Before I could turn it off, it stopped completely - all 3 of the 2 watch turntables. And that was it, they were dead. No tinkering or coaxing could get the thing to work. Again to Amazon's credit, a new one was on the way for next day delivery. It arrived and ran fine - for maybe 30 seconds!!!! It then let out a high pitched squeal and stopped DEAD. I returned this one for full refund. I went to another vendor and bought a more expensive brand, but still a Made in China winder (thus a consumable, not a long term piece), not the very high priced US made ones. Considerably more expensive than the Garmin/Diplomat jokes. It runs like a champ! Amazon refunded my money as soon as the they recieved all returns - so again KUDOS TO AMAZON. I had owned a couple Garmin multi watch winders and realized for the price and quality I was buying consumables. If I got a full year, good enough. But even the Garmin/Diplomats that actually work, start making loud grinding noises within 48 hours. The plastic that holds the indivual holder to the motor is cheap plastic that breaks quite easy. There is no free lunch and evidently there is no such thing as a 6 watch winder for under $300 that is worth the hassle of buying. I would encourage all to stay away from this product - including Amazon.

Great workmanship

This looks fantastic, the burl wood has so much depth, it looks like it is an inch deep. The white leather inside is also done well, very good workmanship. There are multiple settings(4 different settings) for the winder, two control knobs, one works the left and middle and the other controls the right disc. You can pick two different programs for your watches. Great looks and very functional. There is room for about seven electric watches in front of the winder disc. This is a big box! It is approx 19in long 12 deep and 12 tall, but it is such a handsome piece it is like a piece of furniture. Original review 4 Star Ok follow up 7/30/12 after about 12 mos the single winder just quit working. Now almost 2yrs down the road one of the other winders(the remaining two use the same motor) works only part time and drags if works at all. Workmanship and looks are 5 star, internals 2 star so I will alter my review to more of 2 to 2.5 stars because of the quality of the internal components.

Attractive, but that's pretty much where it ends...

I read all the reviews that were available on Amazon before I purchased this winder, and found a reasonably equal share of positive and negative comments. With a leap of faith I ordered this winder and hoped for the best. Shipping was fast, and I opened the box with eagerness and anticipation, marveling at the beauty of the thing once I got it all unwrapped. I read the instructions, placed six of my watches on six of the pillows, plugged it in and let `er roll. The first problem I noticed was that with several of my watches that have fixed, deployment-type bands, they were too large for the pillows, and so they slipped and flopped around once the turntables started rotating. I puzzled over this for awhile, trying to figure out how I could make these watches more secure. I settled on cutting an old t-shirt into strips, and wrapping these strips around the pillows in question to make the watches fit more tightly. This seemed to work fine, although it posed a bit of an unsightly inconvenience - one I guess I could have lived with. Everything seemed to be working as well as I could have expected, when after two or three days the electric motor(s) that operate the turntables began making an audibly unpleasant noise through the closed case. Quietness of operation was one of the primary reasons I chose this winder, and one of the major positive points I remembered reading from one of the other reviews. I realize $209 isn't all that much money to some people, but for me it's substantial. I believe I can find superior quality for the same - or slightly higher - price, and so I am returning this winder to the seller. I hope you have better luck.

Not worth the price

The reviews before me went into enough detail that all I can do is agree with them, other than the 4 star review. Should have also been 5 stars. This is a large case but looks great on the night stand or dresser. Works flawlessly, so far, after 3 months. The only this I would change is the pillows need to be larger. I have a large wrist and the watches are a little loose. I have to tuck the bands in order to keep them from flopping around as they turn, but this is minor. Guess I could find something to take up the slack but it really isn't a problem. So, if you have some nice automatics that you want to have at the ready then this winder is well worth getting unless space is a problem. Updating this review: At about 3 years I noticed the watches were spinning slower, finally would hardly turn the watches. Disassembled unit and gearboxes. I cleaned the gear boxes and added a little lite lub to the gears. This got me another 8 months use and now it's completly dead. Have not been able to locate replacement motors or gear boxes as of yet, if anyone knows where I can get them please let me know. Also I don't know a lot about veneer as to just how thin it can be burl in my opinion this is not burl wood!! It's more like a high priced shelf vinyl, and if that is what passes for burl wood then I sure won't be buying anything else that claims to be burl wood. Bottom Line: Over $200. for 3 1/2 years of use is not worth it to me.

Not pleased

I don't care for the color of the wood (ugly orangey). If I wasn't in need of one; I would have send it back. It is OK, I won't display it anyway.
