BMW S52 valve cover job

After striping the rear stud for the valve cover in the cylinder head of my BMW S52 engine, I used this tool to drill and insert. It is the perfect thread pitch and is easy to use. No leaks, hold to torque spec, and holds great!

Worked as it should

I used this to repair 3 pulled out studs on the rocker arms of a bmw m52. kit worked good. a little grease helped the insert slide in(would not install dry).

DO NOT BUY, Cheap Chinese junk

The tap is of so cheap quality the first used it snapped. I have been doing heil-coils for years, and tap a lot of holes so when I tell you the tap is crap believe it! I was turning tap into blind hole in aluminum intake, taking it nice and slow by hand. the moment the tap hit the bottom it snapped instantly. Cheap Junk do not buy
