Little part - big help

We haul horses with our 2 horse trailer - I did not like the way the trailer felt unsteady going down the road (this was a new trailer) empty or loaded. I had weight distribution set up and it's great - trailer does not sway even when I had to hit the brakes hard when 2 dulys t-boned in front of me. However - the locks for the bars started wearing and needed replacing. The part was very easy to install and bars lock solidly into place now. Recommend whole set up for safety with bumper pull trailers.

No clear instructions but easily figured out and since my pin was sheered off, mine required drilling out old pin

Works with Reese if you make it work.

My WDH is a Reese brand, which may require a hose clamp to keep on if you are in a pinch as the pin needs to be drilled out in my model. It works though as it’s a perfect match in size, shape and quality. Drove it 4,000 miles with no issues thus far.

Good replacement

Replaced on Husky weight distribution hitch as old ones were worn out and the bars kept falling out on corners. Works well and holds our bars in place.

Make sure that you drill out old pins with correct size bit !!!

I used this repair kit to replace my old ones in the spring bar. it works great.
