fits but thinner than my previous

Glad we found this hard to find item. But it is no where near as thick as heavy as the previous one. The slats are flimsy and in a very heavy storm, we are afraid that the longer sections will snap in half. We will reinforce it carefully for a little more security. The packaging leaves ALOT to be desired. When delivered, ONE CORNER WAS STICKING OUT OF THE BOX! They did not even ship it in a box that fit the product. But the angels were smiling because it arrived undamaged. Big thanks to UPS.

Seems Very Fragile

I was surprized how fragile this item was. Not that it was damaged in transit but that it was foam plastic. Anyway the installer had no problem with it and it does look good. Should be a few storms this weekend so if it survives I'll up it to 5 stars otherwise.....***.well after several storms it survived FYI this gable vent was installed over the original one. Survival may have been the result of the support of the original. Wanted to make sure you had all the facts....***

Really not true louvers. Just slits like a saw kerf. I like the look, but will need to other vents.

Product Unacceptable

Purchased these for the gable ends of a barn roof as these were supposed to be vented. The "venting" slots were merely the unattached pieces of plastic louver that are very flimsy and will not hold up in the heat or air movement. These are not strong enough for a house and certainly do not provide any adequate ventilation in spite of these being labeled as functional. Both items were returned with one RMA (my mistake) and the company only refunded one of the 2 items returned. Not only was the product INFERIOR but so was the return policy.

Poorly made fail to ship in proper packaging

No bug screen damaged product wrong size flimsy will not hold up to weather or wind difficult to get a refund

Broken when arrived. Glued and still used. No screen to keep bugs out. Cheap quality.
