Secure Connectors

We've used 4 or 5 different connectors for splicing Electrobraid rope fences and making end connections. The clam shell type can be difficult to align and tighten. The two-screw peanut shaped ones work but I don't like how big they are. The pig tail wrap together type work okay but you need slack to make a connection. What I like about these connectors is that I can use two wrenches to tighten them. That's easier than getting a screw driver into position. The copper is compatible with the Electrobraid wires.

Quality of this Part has Declined

We've had electrobraid fencing for over 18 years. The original split bolt connectors are great quality. These new one's - not so much. Looks like a cheaper version of what it used to be. We're going to try and find some new - old stock. :(

I own a horse boarding facility in Oregon. I have been using electrobraid products for years for horse pasture fencing. It is durable, safe around horses and easy to repair. I am very satisfied with this product.

ElectroBrad TC10 Split Bolts

I tested the items for strength and machining. The movable piece on the bolt does not have ridges which form arrows as I have used in the past. I may add some myself but without them they do what I want. They appear to be strong and I could not strip the threads using a crescent wrench with the bolt head in a vise. I will be using them to clamp a wire antenna instead of soldering. I have done this in the past and see no problem using them.

These are a little pricey but work well

These really are good. I'm using them with 1/8" braided poly line with electric strands woven in it. They hold well and conduct the current. I will be getting more as my orchard expands.
