Not solvent resistant

Works as expected, however the bristles are fixed with adhesive, which will dissolve in solvents and contaminate surfaces. Fiberglass fibers are prone to fracturing.

Convenient and effective

Simply works well. Fibers can be extended to any length to provide desired bristle stiffness. Ingenious.

Well made and effective.

The kit is well made and the brushes work very well. I did have one issue, the steel brush wasn't properly glued at the bottom and the strands came out of the ferrule. They appear to be glued in with cyanoacrylate glue. I was able to reinsert the strands and glue them. Before using the brushes, examine the bottom and make sure the strands are saturated with glue, and glue them in place if they are not.

Having worked within a Jewelry Repair facility, I was familiar with this product. Great for applying the necessary brush strokes upon items.

Great for cleaning conductors after a fire

I use this to remove soot and debris from electrical conductors after a fire to examine. It is made by banding together very tiny fiberglass strands. There are other brushes like this, but they are much smaller in diameter. The larger size of brush makes it much easier to clean conductors and contacts. This is my second one. Very useful.

Only regret is I didn’t know about this tool sooner 5/5

So first of all this is my first time ever using this tool and I use it to fix Sega gamegear and the motherboard is usually in bad condition so this helps exposing the leads so I can do my repairs. Honestly my only regret is that the didn’t know about this product sooner!

Perfect rust tool for small spots

Perfect for taking little rust spots off my car. People complained about the fiberglass breaking off as you're sanding stuff... that's what fiberglass does lol. Product functions how it's supposed to and works great.

Does what it says, easy to install replacement fiberglass bristle. My Daughter just got a new (to her) car and we went over it and patched up all the stone chips and this fiberglass sander worked perfectly. well worth the price.

great for cleaning PCB pads on a circuit board

I use these brushes for cleaning pads on a PCB board that needs to be reworked. They will easily remove the copper tarnish from a pad.
