Excellent Tongs!!
These tongs are an excellent value! Though meant for sugar cubes, they work wonderfully for picking up charcoal disks that are used in an incense censer. Made from good quality stainless that hasn't discoloured from high heat. Highly recommended!

Good sugar cube tongs but not for Montessori tool
Cute little tongs. I purchased them not to use as sugar tongs but for my toddler to use for developing her motor skills. It did not serve that purpose because they are pretty hard to squeeze together for me let alone for a toddler. But great as sugar cube tongs.

Great purchase
I purchased these sugar tongs for a huge tea party that I was throwing at my house. A friend of mine had lent me some of her silver servingware, including a single dainty silver sugar tongs. These inexpensive brushed metal ones were the exact same size, and fit in well. There were 18 people at my party, and I wasn't about to buy two more expensive dainty silver sets. I'm happy to have these with the tea service now, and since I don't use them all the time, I can't comment on durability. Great for my purpose.

A little tough to squeeze but otherwise OK
If you have arthritis these might be hard to use, you have to maintain and pretty hard pressure when squeezing them to pick something up. I've dropped things out of them a few times (I don't have arthritis) because i wasn't maintaining enough pressure the entire time. But in general, they came clean and packaged and they are fine.

Decent Small Tongs
They're very cute, but a little difficult to use. I don't know if its because they aren't worn in, but they don't squeeze together very easily. I am giving 4 stars because they do work and are perfect for appetizers. Like all the other reviewers say, they are tiny. But, I like them and will use them until they break!

A Small Disappointment
I like the miniture size of these tongs but they are a little rough around the edges and not that pleasant to use. Be warned these are very small tongs. The photo gives no sense of scale. Perhaps they should have been photographed with a sugar cube so that you get an idea of their true size. Also the photo makes the metal finish look a lot smoother than they are in reality. I purchased the tongs for a tea party but I don't think I will use them as the quality is just not up to my standards.

Pleasant surprise
I thought I ordered a pair of tongues as I like to collect body parts, so I was initially disappointed when I opened the package. However, for a long time I've had a great amount of small objects lying around the house that I (to my wifes great dismay) havent been able to pick up due to a lack of an appropriate tool. Well those days are now gone. These tongs are perfect for picking up things. Saved my marriage.

Sugar tongs and more
I bought these so my granddaughters' little hands could develop the fine motor skills that will help them with holding writing instruments. Just the right amount of tension for little hands and the little ones love it. Very sturdy and I am sure they will be in use for a very, very long time. They may acutally be used for sugar cubes one day!! Glad I found them.

Nice kitchen or serving tool
Great little item, well priced, nice little teeth to grip the olive etc but not too exposed that you can cut yourself etc Great to keep kids hands off the burger toppings at a BBQ!
