Makes a STRONG towel bar

My wife needed a bathroom grab bar where the towel bar was. This did the trick and now it serves as a towel bar that can hold up her weight plus a lot more. I purchased this bar specifically because its length was correct for the stud spacing in the bathroom. I installed it into studs which is necessary to hold up a person's weight. Hire someone to install if you are not a DIY'er with tools and experience.

Better than those hospital types

Over all great grab bar. Looks much better than those brushed stainless curved end ones you see in the public setting. Chome is not exactly chrome. Has a bit of a yellow tint to it as you can see in the picture. Polished nickel maybe? Lost a star. I added a shower handle holder. Why not just get a shower holder bar set you ask? Because those won't support you weight from experience. A grab bar is thicker, stronger and has substantialy better anchor points. You will probably need longer screws than the 2.5" ones supplied if going into a stud through tile, quickset, backer... BTW, stud finder didn't work through the tile. Lucky I took some photos during the remodel. Don't forget to seal the holes with something if installing this in a bath.

This grab bar was just what we wanted, very contemporary and matches the look in our bathroom. It’s a bit bigger than I expected but will work well.

Looks great, feels sturdy

Such a big difference in appearance compared to regular ADA assist bars. We didn't get to install because the plumber used a different option for us. Sad to return it, but if you just need to use it as an assist bar I think you'll be happy with it.

No rubber grab on inside of bar

This bar is well made and looks great. I only gave it 4 stars because there is no rubber grip on the inside of the bar and wet hands could slip off easily.

Grab bar, looks like a towel rack.

Really nice grab bar - actually looks more like a towel rack. Great in my bath tub/shower; provides firm grip. Very nice! Definitely recommend this item.

Clean design allows to be used as towel bar as well

This is perfect product for a universal design room allowing it to be used as a towel bar/grab bar. I also purchased the smaller version to use at sink as a finger tip towel holder/grab bar. Great line!
