Perfect for multiple small kitchen appliances

I bought this becuase all of my small kitchen appliances have cords that are so short they need to be right on top of the outlet to plug in. I have my coffee maker and toaster oven on the kitchen table and there is an outlet underneath it. The coffeemaker reaches the outlet, but nothing else does. This is perfect for keeping the toaster oven plugged in, as well as anything else I want to use. (I will often use a crock pot or electric griddle on the table, as well). The USB ports come in handy as I can just leave a cable there and charge my phone whenever I'm in the kitchen. I wanted the outlets that can "close" because I have curious cats and don't want them to get zapped! (I also flip the switch when not in use as an extra precaution). Can be mounted on the wall, which I may consider, looks like it would be easy enough. I'm overall pretty happy with this product.

Great surge protector

I have a few of these in my house. They work really well and I like that they will cut off power when they no longer protect against power surges. I got three more so that I can switch over to a new one when they reach capacity.

Randomly received a returned/used one..

Not a fan of paying for a new item only to receive a used one. I'm sure it works fine, but Amazon shouldn't be mislabeled items like this.

Sturdy

I needed to replace an old power strip and wasn't even aware of the USB port feature, but that is my favorite part of this power strip. Having that frees up the rest of the plugs for other items. No crowding. I'm quite happy with the quality and sturdiness of the product.

3 out of 7 outlets are unusable

3 out of the 7 outlets are unusable since they are designed to be TOO close next to each other. The previous GE Ultrapro 7 had outlets that were also too close.

It works great. Quality is what I paid for and that's what I got. If I need one, I will definitely buy one of these again.

Deeply disappointing: outlets too close together!

I was excited about this based on prioritizing a reliable brand - and specifically trying to get more outlets in our office, in an affordable and slim profile. Unfortunately, the sockets are so close together that this is barely useable. Even some fairly standard/common chargers and adapters overlap sockets, rendering them unusable, giving you 4-5 useable outlets rather than 7 - which is the situation I was trying to replace. What's more, if you try to take advantage of the extra space that the outlets on the end should provide for plug/adapter overlap, it doesn't work well as what you're plugging in will overlap with the switch or the USB outlets, so this is not a good design. Kept it for use where we have less to plug in, and replaced with a competitor offering that mixes vertical and horizontal layout. Would not recommend this if you're trying to use most of the outlets and have anything other than simple/standard lamp plugs.

Stopped working after 4 weeks!

I got this for my son in law and it stopped working after 4 weeks!
