If you are going to be changing a fan clutch, just go ahead and get this tool. Don't waste your time with all those snake oil ideas from youtube. I used it on my 2016 Ram 2500 with the Cummins 6.7. It easily hooked to the bolts on the radiator fan pulley and held while I used a 48mm wrench and a 16 ounce hammer (took about 3 good solid smacks) to break the nut free. The prep time to get to the nut took longer than getting it broke free and the fan clutch/fan off the motor. Product was well worth the money, even though (hopefully) I won't have to use it again for a very long time. It will save you some time, bloody knuckles and your sanity.

Mixed feelings
This is a must have to remove the fan clutch but it does slip of easy so you need to be careful. The wrench is very sturdy and you don’t half to worry about bending like cheap wrenches.

Valuable for the removal of the fan clutch
It is fairly easy to use. The difference in the one I rented is that that one had a grooved locking mechanism and the problem with that is those grooves where most people used it wore out. The winning I find not so helpful on this one is that one of the hooks desert come all the way up to grab the bolt it goes around it but not completely or not like the other side does. In the end it didn't actually work for me because my fan clutch nut was unmovable we ended up cutting it off. But I do recommend the tool

It works
Worked like a charm on my 6.0 LS2. I tried the pneumatic kit but all that did was gouge the nut.

Muy solida pero es mejorable.
Es algo pesada y solida, lo que es algo bueno, pero los pines que tiene para detener el pulley son bastante cortos. Deberían ser un poco más largos para que se puedan usar sin problemas, incluso si inclinas un poco la herramienta.

Will work on a variety of pulleys
I recently used this tool to secure the pulley on a Chevy Trailblazer. The tool is simple to use and I can tell it will work on many different vehicle brands. For the money I think it is a good tool to have in your cabinet.

Worked for me, but I had to modify the tool.
For my Dodge Dakota 2003, I actually had to hacksaw the tips off of this tool. It was just not going to work for me as is. Oh well, I was happy I got it to fit alongside my pipe wrench to get the nut free. I used this tool on the top side holes and then the pipe wrench fit nicely underneath. HTH.
