Better than expected. Fits 3 suet cakes!
For the money, this is a great suet feeder. I did need to bend one of the prongs in a little but more, but other than that, it looks like it will do the job. I was surprised to put 3 suet cakes in it and the fit snugly. This makes it even better, as I expected to only fit 2. Better than expected.

Warning for chicken folks!
Pay attention to the dimensions before ordering. For those unfamiliar with these cages they're about the size of your hand. I got this thinking it would be great to use as feeder for my chickens (to hold greens & veggies), but it is a LOT smaller than I was picturing. I'm not a bird watcher and had never purchased suet cakes before, so I didn't realize how small the cage is. I tried it anyway and in less than a minute my chickens had pulled the lid open. So I secured the lid with a clip and tried again. It stayed closed but couldn't withstand their pecking. After just a day they were stripping the green plastic coating off and eating it. I know it wasn't made for chickens, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. Waste of time and money! I've seen lots of folks using suet feeders in chicken runs, but this clearly isn't the one they're using!

Fits two suet cakes. Broke after first use.
Not really worth the money. The metal piece where it hangs broke right off the same day I hung it up. I thought this would be a quality bird feeder but my plastic one holds up better than this one did. The positive out of it is that it does hold 2 suet cakes very well but it doesn't stay closed. The poor birds are hanging on to it and then the door decides to fly right open and both cakes fall on the ground. I should've just put them on the ground to begin with I guess lol. I hate giving bad reviews but this was horrible.

A wee bit too big or small
Bought this thinking I would slide two suet cakes in which is what I did, but lost quite a bit because it was a bit too tight for two and made quite a mess. When I used the bigger cakes, there was a little too much wiggle room on either side, making it difficult for the smaller birds to reach the suet. This probably works just fine for bigger birds, but as I'm primarily interested in the little ones, I'll stick with the single suet holders.

The birds love it!
I purchased two of the double feeders because they were actually cheaper than the single suet feeders. I have them connected to the outside of 4 x 4 posts along our boat dock. I originally had them hanging under some protective trees. I liked them there better, but my dog was hanging out below them to pick up the suet that dropped to the ground. My only issue is that now that I have them out in the open the crows are taking over. I only put one suet pack in at a time, but the feeders work great!

Cheap, But Cheerful!
Nice, sturdy little feeder, that holds two portions of suet, ensuring plenty of food for wild birds, without the need to constantly refill it. The suspension chain has a small hook on the end of it. This enabled me to hang it from the bottom of my newly purchased seed feeder, providing the birds with a variety of food sources to choose from. Good value and does the job well. I now have Chickadees, Nuthatches and Downy Woodpeckers right outside my window.

Very happy..
Tough feeder. Had a raccoon, (bought a game cam here to see what was wrecking my feeders) try opening this. I closed it and put two tyewraps on to keep it closed. Connected it to the pole with a D-ring. Frustrated the raccoon so bad he no longer comes Saved him getting a different fate.

Good product, great price
I had purchased two single suet feeders at a local store and then found this double feeder here on Amazon for less than the price of one of the single feeders. It holds two suet packs/cakes as advertised. The birds love it. I routinely have a woodpecker and a chickadee on it at the same time, one on each side.
