Will not work with SmartSwitches

Great solution for our outdoor lights but we had to replace it when we went to smart switches. Because the cover plate mechanically flips the switches, the smart switch was left pressed which forced failure.

Perfect for what I needed.

Perfect for my outdoor fireplace. I had regular decora switches I couldn't find anything like this previously. simply removed the old decora trim plate and mounted this on top of it. Siliconed the outside for weathertight fit.

Looks like a "regular" switch -- but it's waterproof for outdoor locations

Until this switch overlay was invented, you had to resort to clunky metalic swithces and boxes to meet code requirements for outdoor electrical switching. No more --- although they're kinda boring to look at, the function quite well as rocker swtiches for your outdoor lighting / power needs. Fits right over existing Decor-style switches, but has a waterproof membrane that keeps everything nice and dry. Why weren't these invented years ago?

Worked great

Great product. Was looking for a solution to use wifi toggle switches for my exterior fans and lights and this worked perfect. Installed the toggle switches i bought separately then just installed this cover over the top and fit perfectly and sealed everything nice and tight. Toggles still work manually as well. I did spray paint the cover a dark bronze before installing and it turned out great

Cover for conventional rocker switch.

I’m so glad someone invented this! My brother-in-law is an election and found this on Amazon for a outdoor project at my house. Much more streamlined than the usual outdoor switches. Decora/rocker switch for the win!

This mounts OVER other switches

What was not clear in the description was that this mounts OVER TOP of a box that's got 2 light switches with this shape of switch. so when you use this - it keeps the weather out, and essentially is right up against the "inner" switch that this would go over top of.

A must for any outside / water contact project

Got this for our bathing room in our shop as we are working on making it a full wet room for ease of cleaning. They are sturdy, a bit stiff to press which is good as it stops them being pressed accidently. Totally waterproof when installed correctly against a flat surface or even RPC as we have them. I highly recommend these switch covers for outdoor or wetroom use projects.

Worked exactly as expected

This is a great invention. Waterproofs my exterior fan and light switches without having to install a clumsy cover. The screws have little rubber washers that help seal as well. A+

Great look and functionality

This was perfect for some outdoor switches. Love the look and they work great. Much better than those large clear plastic covers that have to open up to access switches. So glad we found this!

Good fit, much nicer appearance than the standard red and grey switch covers.

Use this product to replace a non-weatherproof two gang outdoor switch plate. Fits well, approved for use in Canada.
