Can't beat the price
I ran out of pots this spring and didn't have time to drill holes in buckets. I was eyeing fabric grow bags...but those were running 10-25 bucks a pop! On a whim, I ordered the "sampler" pack of these bags and was pleasantly surprised. They are a little thinner than I imagined (think heavy-duty garbage bag, not potting-soil bag thickness) but once cuffed and filled they seem to hold up and conform to a squat cylindrical shape that hasn't blown over in strong winds. I've used the 7 and 5 gallon sizes so far, as the 3 was a little smaller than currently needed. The only other thing of note about these bags is that the drainage punch holes can still be present in the packaging and can get all over the ground if you open them outside, and there's some sort of coating on the bags overall (perhaps to keep them from sticking?) but it's very minimal and washed off easily. I currently have summer squash and eggplant in them, and hope to report on how they did at the end of the growing season.

Pack it and plant it!
These girls are sturdy. They hold more than what's listed and has good drainage. The price is right for bags pots. I went from fabric to these because fabric dried way too easily in my room. Soo dry 40%rh in the tent and above 85*f... The only way I'm getting humidity in my tent is a spray system for green house mist. I tried hand spray and it got way too damp... my humidifiers' died from running none stop. The conditions in winter are brutal. I use an air conditioner in summer and both dry the air out bad. So I switched to these and they amazing value. Same results except less watering. I put large perlite at the bottom to increase drainage. I use homemade organic soil.

Going on season 3
I mainly use fabric bags with handles but always have a need for these bags that have the option to fold over to adjust sizing or for temporary plant homes. This is my 3rd season using these bags and I found that they maintain their shape if you open them along the fold to keep a mostly squared shape. The soil shifts more than handled bags and aren't the easiest to move but I like that I can fold the bags up when it's windy or down if I don't need the entire bag. These bags have never let me down and I've not had any split or rip in 3 years. I've planted tomatoes and peppers last 2 years and now establishing my berry bushes temporarily until the growing season. There's good drainage and at the end of season I've never had any plants that were root bound. The shape fits perfectly in my small raised gardens but for now I just keep them in my cart to roll outside for some sun and water while I impatiently wait for spring in the Midwest. I would purchase these again but I have so many I've never used and still using the same ones for 3 years now. I just hose them off after growing season, fold up for the winter and reuse next spring!

Dimensions 1/2 gal: 9in tall, 4.75”w x 3.5” d
I thought these 1/2gal sizes would be a little taller. I needed a lot of taller pots to start root cuttings in late winter/early spring, I suppose these will barely work. They will be good for selling larger plants in the spring. Lots of space for labeling, write directly on the bag.

Super heavy duty
I’ve tried all the gimmicks- non woven bags, pots, all kinds of stuff. These hold the moisture, keep root temp regulated, and overall get the best results. This particular brand was so heavy (must be 4 mil), I have every confidence I can reuse them for several seasons to come.

Only 90 in a pack.
I only received 90 bags in my pack that was supposed to be 100
